The Bad Lt, very cool. The 9 or the MX is always a good choice, as well as the new G10. Thats pretty much if for Giro.

Head is making a Jon Olsson pro which, let me tell you, is snazzy looking. Same with RED's stuff. Check it out.

i kinda want to get the giro that pollard wears in yearbook, the one with the full face, but only for backcountry. anybody else have that helmet? or have any comments on it?

I didn't mention that because I though you were lookin for a park style thing. But I guess so.

As for TuneUps with other companies, Yes and No. You can get that companies style of in earpad headphones, but the Giro TuneUps are only compatiable for Giro.

That helmit is the Giro flint, you can still get it at backcountryoutlet.com. it is ok my friend had it and he went through about 5 of the face pieces one season. but he never broke his jaw.

giros are sweet and last year i had a red skycap and took some hard falls and its in perfect condition still but im goin wit giro tho year...i like like giros look better but im thinking red is alot stronger cause i never seen any dents in a red

^red uses a differnt shell, the are supposed to last, but it wont protect you as well from a BIG crash, where giro is ment to take that big one and thats it, if that makes sence

my giro is soo nice its the 9.9 and i love the tuneups, they sound soo good. the red helmets loook pretty gnarly too but id rather buy a giro

 
i have a 9mx but found the visor to be a little mis-shapen, doesnt fasten to the helmet easily etc, looks the shit though.

the hi fi might look nice, but it is made out of the cheapest material, if you are doing serious skiing then i wouldnt sugest one of them. 9 mx is what i rock and i like it a lot... the new giros are looking pretty nice too

i hate to brake the news, but red uses the cheapest foam in their helmets, so depending on how much fall, you might have to buy a new helmet a lot.

well if your going for looks.....well then i think the giro 9.9 looks better. i dunno the difference in the padding or whatever though

 
the mad max S , which is giro's TRUE full face, is great, but only if its cold, because its based off the MB helmet they have, all they did was fill in the vents.... so it can get kinda hot under there.

Otherwise, the 9MX is the shit, and i need to get tuneups for it!
