Bern ski helmets

I'm looking for a new ski helmet and I've come across the Bern Watts helmet. Does anyone have this helmet, and if so would you recommend it? It seems like it's priced pretty reasonably.

Got the bern macon 2.0 mips and I'm happy with it. Fair price, good quality, no issues so far, this is my second one now. Make sure to get yours with mips.

That's good to hear, yeah 100% getting mips.

I have a bern watts, it’s a comfortable helmet. Two things though, I did have to replace mine because the adjustment system broke. Also, when I got the second helmet, the padding was very odd and I couldnt take the ear flaps off. I ended up changing the padding between the new one and the broken one.

Smith code or giro ledge is the way to go

I’ll looking for something with a brim and the bern watts fits the description and it doesn’t looks nearly as goofy as a sandbox helmet.

I’m just not sure on the build quality of bern (but judging from some comments they seem decent) since I haven’t seen one irl but I’ll check those helmets out you guys listed.

Do you personally find any benefits of having a larger brim on the helmet, or is it just for looks?
