Berkshire east

i think i saw ns stickers on someone's helmet there today, you were riding fujatives i think and had like a yellow/brown-ish striped jacket

also saw a kid in saga tuxedo on tuesday night

holy fuck anyone hear about the crash there today?

i was stopped at the bottom of upper comp and these 2 people wrecked eachother at full speed and i was the first one to respond to the crash and the kid i went over to was completely unconscious for 30 seconds and twitching and the other guy fucked up his lung i think. the collision sounded like a gunshot it was so loud

the second i heard the crash i took my skis off and ran over to one of the kids. i got his head stable while calling for coaches and patrol. i checked his breathing and it was fine but the other guy was more fucked up. i didn't do too much in terms of care because i don't know what to do so i didn't wanna fuck him up further, but i did everything i knew how to do

after patrol got there we slowed people down and kept them away from the crash while patrol got them in sleds and into ambulances

one of the ambulances sped off with sirens on so that guy was fucked up but the other one stayed behind us the whole way back so clearly the kid was fine

Yeah. Well its good you did what you could do and know enough not to do anything to fuck them up more. Lots of people would probably do stuff they shouldn't. Hope that guy turns out alright. And good thing the kid will be fine.

Word. I completely agree. When I read somebody's thread on here they posted a few days ago about something like "Immediate Response" after reading it I felt inspired to learn certain things and get certifications. Now I have a huge interest in being a patrol someday because i want to be able to help people and save lives.

ya i was mostly skiing big chief and the east east glades were no one knows about theres two sick cliff that no one hit which were really fun

Has anyone noticed at the bottom of the quad they have a bunch of new features that have been sitting there for about a month? 1 butterbox, 2 flat boxes, 1 flat down rail and 1 flat rail.

A little update on the "park":

They took away the tiny "booter" on the "jump". Its now just a fatass mound of snow. Also they had a barrel bonk but they took that away too.

Off in the woods on skiers right of roundabout, near the top me and my friend built a log jib off of a 5 ft "cliff". when this storm hits it should be a pretty fun feature.

Berkshire East used to have a trail called avalanche but they took it off the trail map. When you get off the summit triple (not the new one) about a quarter way down minidole turn into the woods on skiers right. theres a pretty fun cliff (10ft). shouldnt be too hard to find.
