Bent the rim on my road bike tire

If you do manage to fix it, it won't be nearly as smooth or true as before, I'd suggest just gettin a new one.

open up, we're coming inside. What's it feel like to know you're gonna die?

Go to your local bike shop(s), and ask for a trewing, if its really bad, then yes, you need a new rim.

unless theres is a crack or stress spots, just get it trued. bring it to your LBS (local bike shop), they'll do it for 10-15 bucks.

road bike rims can last for years, unlike mountain bike rims which are usually replaced every 1-2 seasons (depending on how hard you ride).

oh ya, and riding without brake pads isn't such a good idea. not only is it dangerous, but you risk damaging the rim further because the bare brake could rub up against the rim

Could i just ride my bike down there and wait for them to true it? or do i have to drop it off...

I work at the LBS, and i suggest you get that trued as soon as possible. They can get bent, and therefor fucked, if you dont fix it soon. A $15 true is much cheaper than a $200 wheel.

It seems the entire cheerleading squad is going to beat up the person who spoke ill of Gwen; they have put down their pom-poms, and they are now â??fired upâ?? to exact swift and terrible vengeance on Gwenâ??s behalf.- -AR_Six-
