Bent Poles

I keep bending my poles, does anyone have any suggestions on bending them back/how to prevent bending them. I bent two pairs in the park. I was using Scott team issue s4 aluminum.

Short poles are harder to bend... CUT THEM > On rails and in the air they are just balance sticks

this. It also makes it more difficult to jab yourself in the ribs when you fall and such. Shorter poles are better.

if you bend one at the hill, make sure you wait till you get home to heat it up so it bends more easily. or go to the lodge and ask if they can roast it over the grill a little

my poles are mangled i usually use the chair and bend it back or my quads hahaha

some good carbon poles. never bend, only flex.

if your gonna bend them back heat them up first so they don't break

or to bend them back when you get home just bend them over a fire or blow torch

Haha they snap so easily if they are carbon fiber. Just get cheap poles its well worth it.

use the arm rest on the lift if you are sitting on the end and bend them back like that. or your knee
