Bent fks brakes

Basically i released switch and it caused my brakes to bend, so that when i snap in the brakes of one side drag along the snow.

Was planning putting the boot on and standing in the ski whilst bending the brake back into the right place with a hollow metal tube.

Would anyone recommend this as a good way to fix the problem? should i heat the metal as well? should i do something completely different? any good tips to stop it happening again?

cheers!!

there is some way you can take the brakes out of the binding, rebend them, and put them back in. Not sure where to find the video on how though, i have friends that just bend them way up while standing on it and they ride fine but you never know where they're gonna go when you eject

This exact thing happened to me this past weekend on the hill. I just took it down to the ski shop at the bottom of the hill and the guys in the tech shop just bent in back for me and I haven't had an issue with it since

I used to have the same problem with mine... All I do is bend the metal back into place on the hill right after it happens and then its fine and I have no problems with it.

That happened to me with my tryolia attack 11's. Just lock into your bindings and have one of your buddys bend the brake back with his hand.

Happened to my tyrolia attacks. Just mess around with it and bend it until its back into the right shape. One good method is to get a skinny pipe thats hollow in the middle and shove the brake inside it and use it to straighten the brake (if that made any sense)
