Bent Films Open/Film Shoot

Febuary 8th/9th..... mt st bruno... Canon Skiboards and Bentfilms are hosting the second competition of the season, so if you want a shot at some shots in the new bentfilms video, and a shot to work it for the cameras and the judges then come on out, its gonna be a slopestyle and best trick contest, and if there are tables that warrent it, then we'll have a big air as well... there are no classes, just every skiboarder for himself, and so far competing are Ben Wannamaker, Mike Wass, and a bunch of local kids, and maybe some apperences by some big dogs coming out to film for the flick like serge maheu, and others......

We are debating on a cash purse, if so there will be an entrance fee, and if not canon is already supplying us with some gear for the 1st second and third place winners..... so if you get a chance support canon and thank them for the support they have been giving

We will be shooting one day, and the comp should last no more then 2 hours.

Skiing and skiboarding are the same thing. but i don't want to get in to another discussion about it.

This post is here for those who do skiboard. Also for those critics who havn't seen a stylish skiboarder.

Any way don't bash someone because of what they have on there feet. praise them for how well they ride.

in common:

- Two Boards Strapped to your feet

- Rode on Snow

- Going Downhill

- Rale Sliding done

- Hitting Jumps

- Half/Quarter Pipe

- Doing tricks in the air (grabs, flips, spins)

- Turned up tip in the back for riding fakie

Differences:

- Skiboards are short

- Ski bindings are large and you can pop out.

- Skiers commonly used poles.

my intire crew waited for his ass at the bottem of the hill and beat the shit out of him. i broke his poles agianst a tree, and we snapped one of his skis. fucker got uppercutted so much. he was bleeding from his eyes and shit, crying like a little pussy. i busted out a body slam on his ass and broke both of his arms. the ski patroler broke up the fight and clipped all of our tickets. we where gonna beat the shit out of the patroller but my mom came to pick us up.

You say the differences of skiing and skiboarding, first off, not all skis are tipped up in the back and skiing is not all about hitting rails and going off jumps. It is about the park, the big mountain, skiing deep ass pow and hucking in the backcountry. No one wants to hear about your dumb ass skiboard filmshoots. Dont you realize that most of the people on this site think you are retarted. Stop posting shit about skiboard filmshoots. You always tell people to go to skiboardsonlne.com , why the fuck wont you go there with the rest of your snowlerblading buddies and chat on your retarted forums.
