Bent Chetler 100s on east coast

I'm thinking about getting a pair of Bent Chetler 100s for the east coast, but I don't have any experience skiing them and I don't know anyone who rides them so I'm pretty much going off the blister review. How do they perform in shitty conditions/out east? Also if anyone has any other recommendations they would b appreciated.

My dad skis them, go longer for a stiffer not stable ski shorter for a more playful. They have lots of rocker, a stiff tail and are fun in slush, not real deep pow, trees and the park. Their pretty light too. Sometimes I ski them for a tree or bump ski and touring cause he went 171 or 170 forgot the exact measurement rather than 180 or 181.

Get them. I can’t think of a reason you shouldn’t... I’ve skied on them in New England and they’re a solid choice.

If you catch some ice, you may have a bad time. They are a little loose in the tips and the tails so you may get a bit of chatter. Anything other than ice, then you have got yourself a great daily driver. Something with a little more camber underfoot and stiffness may be preferable. That being said, if you like something a little looser that you can butter, then the Bent Chetler 100 may be perfect. I would also take a look at the K2 Poachers (96 underfoot with a little bit more stiffness), and if you really want to beef it up, I have heard very good things about the moment wildcat 101 although I haven't skied it I have heard amazing things! That stiffer profile will be more effective on ice. Hope this helps!
