My skis were center mounted line 1260's last season (too poor to afford any more than 1 pair of skis), and I skied 80 days. I would NOT recommend it at all. It causes you to lean back really far in any conditions besides ice and thus caused me to get severe shin bang and it lasted all season. I did as much research as I could do about what causes it, and all the people who knew what they were talking about said it was from leaning back too much on landings and while riding around. Think about how you have to lean back riding powder, if it's center mounted you have to do it even more. That's my 2 cents.
