I have last years 720. THe twintip isnt too high and id like it to be a bit higher. now please dont tell me just to go get some new skis cause i wanna wait till the end of the season. can it be done? I heard in another thread that you do it by boiling it in water and then bending it. will it work? will it break off easy when its done?

not worth it....i attempted to do it to my atomics with a hot air gun which have a foam core and it worked...they stayed up for like 2 days then they cracked and the tails just flopped up and down like a dong on the back of each of my skis cuz the only thing holding the tails on was the bases. The foam had cracked all the way through on a back seat landing

Don't try it, the same thing will happen to them, they will delam at the tails and then you're basically screwed.

yeah, definitely not worth it. I did it to a pair of skis and it messes them up. if you want high tips, buy a pair of old lines :)

once again guys, you can turn anything into twins, it just ruins the integrity of the ski. The only time you should do so is if you are DESPERATE for rail skis, but dont do it to any you actually want to use on the hill. oh, and no I don't have any for sale. I mean, I could make you some from an old pair of regular k2 or something, but you dont want that janks man

I once saw a pair of K2 el camino's that had a tip fiberglassed on to it. I saw a guy skiing them and a I saw him a week or two later and they were still on there. So who knows? I have a pair of 165 Candides with 810 ti's for sale if your interested.
