i am mounting griffons on chronics, only problem is the brakes are 110mm (but i got them for 125$ canadian no tax) can i bend the brakes in so they are closer to the ski? or should i shell ou the extra 25bucks for 90mms?

it never really works, because of the configuration in the vice they will always conform back to the original bends at 110 because the metal is weaker. you can bend brakes out because you put the original bends in the vice so they can't bend againbuy the bindings and then trade brakes with someone on here, they're interchangeable

^id probably agree with that. but alot of shop techs can bend them, i wouldnt try it myself though

i've bent a lot of brakes and never successfully bent a pair in, just in terms of the way you put them in the vice they will always bend to the widest bends engrained in the metal

i'd say go to a store and ask for smaller ones

I work in a shop, and when i go down to the tech room, i see boxes of brakes

If they are even some what cool, they will take your brakes, and give your a smaller set. its really no difference for them... its like trading 10 dollars for 10 dollars...
