Bending a flatbill

ight so i just picked up this sick NY Yankees flatbill today, i used to rock flatbills better than anybody i knew when i had long hair, but now that i shaved my head i cant pull them off one bit. So i was wondering if i made it into a normal hat would it look ok or would people be able to tell i bent a flatbill? And would it just look gay and fucked up?
 
What's weird about bending the brim a little? Most authentic MLB hats come flat and players bend them a little to their liking. This is normal.

It's flatBRIM, not bill. Baseball does suck, as do you. And yes, you will look completely retarded with some flatBRIM hat that has been bent, it will be noticeable, and people will point and laugh hysterically.
 
i always thought that a brim referred to the thing on a fedora, cowboy hat, or hat like that while a bill was on a baseball type hat... i could be wrong.
 
sorry for dubs here. im guessing they called it a bill because it looks like a duck bill. it could be a reference to a style of hat brim...but anyways. potato potato

i just asked my dad and a couple people (granted, my dad is 70 while im 20 as is his friends so they are a bit old fashioned) and they said that a "brim" refers to a fedora, cowboy hat, or similar hats edge thing... while a bill refers to the edge thing on like a hardhat, baseball hat, or similar sort of hat.
 
All MLB hats come flat... and most baseball players who arent huge faggots bend their bill/brim to their liking. So do whatever the fuck you want, nobody cares really.
 
im sorry but if you cannot use your hands to curve a hat brim properly then you have downs or something of the sort. no hate but curving your brim is like a personal thing and should be done on your own, not by some device
 
unless you are like 5.... cause they just fold the fucker down the middle, if you are older than 10 THEN you better do it yoself.
 
true, my dad did it for me the first few times i got my team hat for baseball. even if you fold it in half its still something you have to go through until you can find your own style
 
They're not designed to be curved, you'll make the forehead look all funny if you bend them...

well i myself have like 9 newera's and would NEVER think of curving one, i wear them flat...

but i ahve a friend on my ski team who's a big sports nut and takes the sticker off his jays hats and curves it by hand then puts it in that thing

it just makes it a always consistent curve thats really perfect, and it keeps it curved and from fucking up while in travel

its main purpose is for travel im pretty sure
 
i would never curve one of my newera flatbrims, but i have had a bunch of newera branded team baseball hats that i have hand curved and maintained the curve by hand. to me the curve you make and maintain on your own is just as big of a style thing as the way you wear your hat.
