hahah "fuck yea ortiz"? what exactly did he do to warrant that response? did he even land a single punch? another example of Boston being lame and pretending its cool
 
Meh... pretty weak. Wasn't really any punches landed and frankly I would have expected something more from Ortiz in a fight.
 
Lets talk some shit and push eachother, then throw vicious punches nowhere near the target to look less like pussies... FUCK YEAH BASEBALL!

He did and missed, I just enjoy the fact that the ump fucked up and didn't throw Gregg from the game after the first three pitches he threw were all inside, and on the third one, when Ortiz walked out, Gregg left the mound, that is automatic Ejection, guy should have been out right there. Gregg is just a fucking guy who can't accept the fact that his team got the living piss beat out of them tonight

 
If Ortiz had landed that left uppercut it would've been a one hit KO. That guy is ripped and he was going for the broken nose.
 
funny how you don't point out that the pitcher had a nice swing and a miss too.

oh, and we don't need to pretend anything because for the last decade or so, championships have made a habit of residing in boston for awhile.

I got a nice picture of me with 3 vince lombardi trophies, 1 nba championship trophy, the stanley cup and 2 world series trophies together at the same time.
 
ok so I guess this is why the one year i was on the wrestling team and we ran past the baseball team everybody would call them pussies. I'm not in the sports world at all but is it like some sort of inside joke I'm missing?
 
no can do. its in a frame, and i don't want the vast majority of this site to know what i look like/be able to recognize me.

it was a special event i worked at the ballpark shortly after the bruins won it, in which reps brought out all the trophies for photoshoots and stuff. Really cool stuff.
 
yea i know...but its a decent claim even without a picture to back it up. dont even have a digital copy actually.
 
haha you are defiantly mentally handicapped. Baseball isn't a contact sport and yet there are still fights, pretty badass imo.
 
well see, I'm beyond petty immature things like disliking a place simply due to sports so, thats somewhat irrelevant to me. And besides, Boston is home to me. So you can say what you want about that, but I'm not gonna stoop to your level and make fun of you for simply being born somewhere and living there your whole life.

haha, it's not bad ass at all. there are fights at the grocery store that rival any MLB fight. I mean this thread was a perfect opportunity for those of you backing baseball as a bad ass sport with badass fights, but so far they've been pretty weak. They look like middle school kids fighting, scared to get in the mix, blindly throwing wild punches, then everyone from both teams runs over to break it up. Same goes for when managers and players throw little fits at the umpires, the only intensity in the game is these little girls flippin their shit. Sure there's some hustle a few times, but as a non contact sport it's pretty mellow, I guess that's why it's so hard to really rage good, It'd be like getting pissed in a zen garden.
