Hey, who on here listens to Ben Harper? I think he's amazing, his music and vocals are unbelieveable. What are your thoughts on Harper?

I kinda lump ben harper, jack johnson, OAR, and Phish's Farmhouse in the same category. It's not bad, just way too boring. Kinda like jam bands marketed for the MTV audience. It's just too poppy for me.

Ok I have a question that I really need answered.

Ok I found out about Ben Harper by the song "Steal my kisses" and have loved his music. And in the band Yellowcard, one of the guitarist is name Ben Harper so is this the same guy?

but yeah, ben harper rules. diamonds on the inside is my personal favorite album, i need to hit up that live one tho.

 
I've only heard one of his songs, that "steal your kisses from you" or something like that..it was pretty good. I like jack johnson though.

i agree, i have never been a fan of oar as they for mtv teen girls who have somewhat sophisticated taste of a teen girl. and jack johnson is music that everyone can like but harper speaks to me like the others dont

ben harper is quite good, jack johnsons older stuff is good too, but In Between Dreams is too pop like for me

i hope his[mike jones] tour bus breaks down in the warped tour parking lot and 1000 emo kids stab him and cry about it.
