already searchbared, i didnt find what i was looking for because the majority of reccomendations are gloves that are 150 bucks, and quite honestly, i already have dropped $1300 bucks on an all new setup of everything, literally everything is new.

so i need some nice, quality, WARM, gloves that are below $85 bucks.

thanks

I live in fairbanks alaska where -40 is not uncommon and skiing in -20F happens. In that cold weather I use hestra gloves I got off tramdock for like 40 bucks. The Henrik winstepd (sp?) ones. Trust me, they're warm. Hestra ftw

Check my threads. I've got some black diamond gloves that I got of SAC last year that have never been worn. SUPER warm, like TOO warm for my hands. $30 plus shipping.

Go to hardware store, ask for Kinco, Be warm. and they are leather so they are tough and only like$14

Hestra all the way. You can usually find a pair for less than $85, but honestly you should suck it up if you need to. Mine have lasted 5 seasons already and they look brand new. There is no glove that is warmer and of better quality than a nice pair of Vertical Cut Freerides.

haha empire attire is a joke. i bought some last year they were nice but they started getting holes in them just from normal wear and tear from skiing. and because of those holes the insulation then got destroyed from snow on powder days and by the end of the season i had to throw them away (i should of done it sooner they got FREEZING). if you are thinking about buying new gloves every few months than ya hit up empire. if they had better durability id be all over there shit.

well i have some mittens now and they are so warm they make my hands sweat, but i just dont like mittens for whatever reason i cant figure out. i just the mobility and control of gloves. i also dont like those lobster mittens/glove thing by the way.

anyone have anything to say about pow gloves? i'm in the market for new gloves and see pretty good deals on them, specifically of the leather variety

yeah, im curious as well. also, is leather the warmest material? so right now, im looking at the dakine glove, switch, and hestra. however, hestra has a lot of bad reviews floating around? is there certain models of hestra i need to look into, or all of them good? if so, which ones?

I got the dakine mustangs and man are they comfy and warm id suggest those if you wanted a great glove for 60 bucks

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm looking for gloves, and I just checked out the cobra gloves. Do you think they'd be warm enough for some cold east coast days, at like 5 or 10 degrees Fahrenheit?

Go with something tried and true .... get the Hestra Heli Glove. It's been plenty warm for me as low as -38F wind chill (think it was about -10F that night).

i had cobras that fit terribly and were not warm at all

the way i look at gloves is you can spend 80 bucks on a new pair of decent gloves every few years, or spend 150 on hestra fall lines and have them for the next 10 years

another solution are $8 insulated work gloves, kinco and carhartt both make good ones

I like the way this kid thinks ^

I've been wanting Hestras for soo long. One day a pair of Hestra Cloudnine gloves popped up on tramdock. Took me a whole 5 seconds to put them in my cart. All for $65!

I got a 30% off coupon with my order on any Stoic gear. Look at Backountrys Stoic glove. I've heard nothing but good things about them.

PM me if you're going to use the coupon because I probably wont before Dec. 6th
