Are you by any chance going to college in Bellingham? How are the trails on Galbraith looking, I'm thinking about applying there... Though my mom doesn't think its a great school
 
No, high school/

Haven't been to the trails, but recent pics look sick. But western is a great school. I have a few friends who go there, and they all love it.
 
university of washington is overall a much better school (this may be why your mom thinks western isn't such a great place)
it's good that you're looking at other factors than just quality of academics
 
fuck i want to move back to silverdale. and that rail, not a big deal. just half a death gap on to a perfect nutter rail. but ya, uw is like a massive school. i dont know if i could be in a class with 200 other kids.
 
My number 1 choice school I'm applying to is UBC... of course the proximity and quality of Skiing and Mountain Biking are the deciding factors in schools I'm applying to. I want to go to as good a school as I can get into, however, I refuse to go east of the rockies or further than 1-1.5 hours away from the nearest skiing. I'm also keeping MTB in mind.

The ONLY exception to that rule is UC Santa Cruz, because it's close enough to home I could drive to meet my parents and have them drive me up to tahoe, which puts about 2 hours of driving on me, not 5. As long as I can sleep part of the 5 hours, I'm ok... plus SC has sick MTB and surfing, which I greatly enjoy.

Not do able. Think about it honestly. The wall, the gap, the run in, and teh fact thats its right into a sidewalk on a busy street, are all reasons this rail isn't do-able.

There is a better DFD no more than 3 blocks from there, as well as a plethora of other rails.

how about that double kink at larrabee state park? right after you walk underneath the tracks through that tunnel
 
I know of at least 4 DFD in Bellingham that haven't been hit yet.

Also know of 2 wallrides, and some other junk. if we get good snow again it will all get destroyed. Filming urban with ice rink snow is whack.

but really, Yeah. I work a lot and tend to have some stupid project going on. But once it starts snowing you might find me! Maybe not now that I just picked up a sled. canyon creek whoop whoop
 
With all this talk of mega dumps in the PNW, maybe we'll be getting some pros heading up to slay some Urban, that rail would be sick in a movie.
 
except its like an 8ft drop straight down to rail. The trajectory is fucked. Nothing at all like that old roof to rail gap that we have all seen. It would be jump, to like 12 ft air to rail. Death. No one could stick that out.
