MY dad talked was talking to a state trooper or something like that (idk why) and They were discusing belleayre and the state trooper said the budget was passed for belleayre and they will do less snow making for gore because they recive more snow than belleayre. They see a good season according to lots of signs and this looks like one of those epic 50 year winters so. Belleayre has a new web site so check it out, PAsses for 17 year olds and below are a little more i think 220 before Nov 30

New web site check it out. http://www.belleayre.com/

on more small note. They will not run lift 2 (The two parrellel lifts, The one on the farside at the bottom) and one of the rope tows. They won't blow snow on the natural trails for a good base. So those won't open as quicly. Basically Unthseyunta. They will only run the beast on powder days and holidays/weekends. So hike out to Cathedral brook, and THE GLEN!!!! Or just cross over from roaring brook. But all in all nothing major. But this year looks VERY VERY VERY PROMISING!

yup ya just gotta ride it the entire way down. the hike out at the bottom is a major bitch when its a kick ass pow day but its so worth it

I'm a local, period. What makes you think "its just rumors" - it would the biggest bullshit of a story if Belleayre didn't open. The state budget given to Belleayre was more than enough to run full capacity. It's the retard Tony Lanza that sent this all in a downward spiral.

If I could find a reliable way of getting to Snow from UAlbs, people in the next county would have to replace their broken windows after I scream with glee.

I plan on trying to hit up Snow a bunch this season, so I'll let you know when I head over. I'll be going with K2ECripa (she lives in Albany), as always, and I'm sure if you ask, she's more than willing to give you a ride. She knows you're Belleayre peeps - so it's all good =)

dam you stealing gores snow. i dont give a shit about the rest of the mtn but the park needs all it can get
