Belleayre Planning to Open the 13th

pretty stoked. temps should stay below 32 degrees most nights until the 13th.
 
probable not, I dont believe there were last time...

Last year they were planning on opening around the 13th and were forced to open a couple weekends later cause of conditions, hopefully it isnt the same with this year... Im guessing if they do open, it will only be 2-3 trails.

Anyone else showing up to this opening weekend??!!
 
that's what i plan on doing, and also checking the weather every day for the extended forecast

well I meant opening lift day... I was there one day for an hour or two, then had a pretty bad fall on one of the rails n left in pain
 
i have heard that they will be open this weekend.

its just rumor i heard from a ski patroler from belleayre.
 
Really? I heard they weren't. It's been kinda warm Jacob. I'll drive up tomorrow before work and let you know what's up.
 
Sweet because if its open Ill have to wake up at 6 or 7 to make it home from Albany haha
 
We are getting ready for our Tap Into Winter Party on November 13th with a Rail Jam from 11-3!

i bet it will be like the memorial day jam. mud. and a little snow
 
Personally I would call their automated line (2545600) rather than trust the website. But really, there wasn't even a base on Onteora next to the trip, which is the only trail that had any snow.
 
Funny to run into you last night. I think I got food poisoning from the wings I ate there =\ .... otherwise I'd come watch the rail jam. Let me know how it goes.
 
im there right now, will post pics when i get home tomorow.. 3 rail setup, all next to eachother. a good 30 ppl goin at it, didnt bring skis cause i didnt wana hike. In a purple hoody witha powder hat and northface bookbag with NS sticker on it. i think I saw JTLs jacket on the ground, not sure.

yeah its opening pretty soon, I get to go up the 12th, lucky me since my local mountain that i'm becoming an instructor at doesn't have snow yet so we're going up to bellayre just to train and learn how to teach, the boring stuff.
