Bella Bacon Sponsored joins Red Bull team

Quickest success story. One year i hear of some ig girl who's wicked steezy on rails, the next she's sponsored by Faction and Red Bull. I guess superunknown works
 
Idk what it is about her but she's got something the other girls don't rn. And I'm not just gunna say it's "style" cause thts a bullshit cop out answer imo. It's like she's got a confidence or swagger about the way she skis that the other girls don't. They all look so stiff and timid out there compared to her. I feel like she's closer to bridging the gap between men's and women's park scene than the girls who are throwing their new dubs in comps.

Bro she's also been skiing park for only like 2 years or something

Said this in another thread...some people are built different when it comes to progression.

I think she's gonna push women's freestyle skiing forward a lot with respect to style

think she’s been at it for like maybe 4 years but yeah a crazy short time considering how insane and proper her skiing is.

Didnt really realize how quickly she came up!? Kinda reminds me of of Jill Perkins, (not style wise, just like career-trajectory). Pretty sure she said on her Bombhole she didnt start snowboarding till like high-school and now she sponsd by Monster, Ride, Vans, etc.

Also not really here or there - women's big air comps are getting seriously fun to watch.

No chance, me and the homies used to watch her rip our home mountain holiday valley when I was in highschool, she was nasty in the park back then too. 6-8 years ago.

redbull loves marketable people and i’m honestly surprised they picked up bella cause she doesn’t seem she fits in the “clean cut” image most the redbull riders share in common
 
I totally agree with the swagger part. She doesn’t seem scared. And you guys can call this sexist but I’m basing this off what I’ve seen from both genders. Female skiers a lot of the time look as if they’re bracing to eat shit every time they do a trick. IM NOT SAYING ALL just a lot of them. And bella really does look comfortable on her twigs and I think that’s what makes her so fun to watch. Redbull is gonna be really good for her and I hope more girls of all ages look up to her as a role model/inspiration, she’s exactly what women’s skiing needs, not some boner style comp bot like some of the others out there…

This. That’s something I’ve noticed too. She doesn’t look scared like some people do. Her style has a certain element of domination and power to it that is only seen in some of dudes which is why she’s goated
 
If you ask me, she makes Gu look silly. But gu is literally like a superstar model at this point too, crazy how different 2 skiiers can be on the same teams.

Yeah I thought about this while I was writing it haha. I just meant I didn’t want to stop at simply describing it as “style” I wanted to quantify it a bit more.

Nah fam she’s been skiing park for a minute. Idk the exact time but she was ripping HV a few years ago when I was staying down in Evl over February break where she’s from and where HV is. And that was 3-4 years ago
 
Also super stoked for Her to land a Red Bull sponsorship. She’s got mad style. Love to see people like her, Taylor lundquist and anni Karava rising up and getting much deserved attention and all killing their aspects of the sport. Women’s skiing coming into a golden era, we’re not just seeing progression trick wise, but individual styles.
