-so all you haters are going to choke on your own words when the actual trailer, or better yet the movie itself comes out and rawks yo socks off w the illest bc pow lines, jibs and pillows you've ever seen. I can't wait to see it.

 
the pilow line was probably one of the coolest things i've seen on skis. he was charging it.

I think the movie is going to be sick.

ehhhh your a fool. that trailer was awesome. hop off tanner. sure hes the most famous and hes a sellout wah wah wah. he skis nuts, period.
 
Well for all of you who say that that was just a taster and it was supposed to just get you stoked on the movie, all I have to say is that it did nothing of the sort, and I am a big mountain person. In the end it just made me take that movie off of the list of ones to watch next year, now other then the fact that the lines were definatly some of the sicker ones I have seen in a while and are starting to approach Jeremy Jones, the skiing only acounted for 24 out of 63 seconds. Then 1/6 of the entire trailer was face shots of tanner. So I have a good idea of how bad tanner looks with a beard. and that last shot. was so contradictory to the image he plays for the ESPN cameras, that I almost laughed. The fact is there was almost 20 seconds of people shots, (10 tanner), 15 seconds of transitions (including black at end), 11 seconds of othershots, 7 seconds of tital, yet only 24 seconds of skiing. when I watch something thats supposed to get me stoked on a Ski movie I would expect that the majority of the teaser/trailer would be skiing. not other shots. Also the portrait shots were way to serous, I like to have fun when I go skiing and becuase of that usualy smile, not look like I am about to head into Bagdad. Ski movies are not supposed to be these serius stories with a meaning, they are supposed to be enjoyable. and other then seeing Seths sick helmet there was not much in that trailer that was enjoyable. So yes that trailer/teaser/taster sucked balls did not get me stoked on seeing the movie, and convinced me even further that Tanner Hall needs his ego nocked down a little.
 
I think you need to do like your icon and chill. It's cool when there isn't that much skiing in trailers so that when you see the movie, you actually see new shots.
 
yeah it's nice to see some new shots Geoff, (and I am supprised you posted) but I don't think they would spoil all the shots, since I have heard that they got increadably good weather this year, with 40-50 seconds of skiing.
 
wtf is wrong with you guys hating who cares if tanner is self centered. face it he rips in all aspects of skiing and what is wrong with that teaser you know that there is gona be park and rails its just they put in allot face shots of tanner in that clip

i like how he started out owning park and pipe....then focused and continued to own in the pipe....and now he's totally slaying the backcountry and people still are like "hes so over rated yada yada yada...." i mean, what else could he possibly do?
 
ok i agee he rips park wise, but have you seen him ski big mountain? he still looks pretty sketchy, he doesnt rip like alot of guys do.
 
I did think the trailer had some sick skiing (the pillow line and big mt lines) and I think the title would be sick if it were just "believe" instead of "believe Tanner" but the movie still ooks sick
 
I'm not hatin but I don't think that tanner's movies are that great. They try to be too sentimental and don't really show that much tight skiing.
 
i dunno a ski company and a film company...I like em both. I thought it was something different, which is nice...I don't know i think that pillow line was sick too. I liked it.
 
to be honest with you, if I were tanner I would love to have a movie about myself. I'd be a douchebag too if I were a an icon of newschool skiing, especially one of the main ones.
 
no CR is sponsered by monster and the main sponser of tanners productions is redbull so they are not allowing CR to be in the film

if thats true, then that is the most bunk thing I have ever heard. Especially after Tanners movie last year was based mainly on CR's accident. Not to jump to conclusions, but if true, how can you trade a friend in your movie for money???

Also, who does tanner even have in his movie this year anyway?

"Belive Tanner" is just the first of many teasers yeat to come, like "Believe Seth", or "Believe Kye".

i think the second skier would be JP auclair....i could be wrong. Last pic i seen of seth he did not have a beard, but time passes on. I know the last guy skiing is A. Boronowski. It looked like an Ok movie, very Warren Miller/ MSP style.
 
i didnt read the thread so i donno if anyone said it but i think its just called believe... the believe tanner part was just in the trailer

And Rowen, why the fuck would tanner need to film when he pays someone to do it for him?

Do you guys realize that Tanner is basically producing this film as well as skiing in it?? Like the same way that Puff Daddy produced B.I.G.s shit.. Wow you guys are idiots.

I guarantee that everyone on NS will see this movie. Honestly, how can you not be excited to see this? Tanner is trying to breakthrough some new unique shit here, not just ski porn with shitty music in the background.
