Yea so I just broke my thumb skating and i had to get surgery to put 3 pins in my thumb.. and the part that sucks is its right before the season. they said i can't ski for two months! pretty gay! who else is hurt or has been hurt right before ski season

thats whack! just throw a couple socks over your cast! (im assuming you have a cast) and ski with one pole!!!

boke my collar bone on halloween last year but i didnt miss any skiing i just kinda took it easy for the first month

I tore My left lateral miniscus at stowe last year on a 360 off a small cliff Suuuper early in the season, like the week after thanksgiving. It sucked I had surgery and was done for the season.

i partially tore my achilles tendon (read:2nd degree strain), and have to take it easy for 6 weeks. i hope it heals up correctly, im gonna cry if my season gets blown early on.

there isn't much skiing in the next 2 months anyway, maybe a few weeks if you're lucky like last year.

and you can definetely ski with that, just stick to the groomers, the casts these days are like arnold

I broke my collar bone a day before my b-day and 3 days before my mtn opened. so lame
