MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Come friday I'll get to ride them and find out if I'm a genius or just wasted an old pair of skis that I was never going to ride again and where in too bad of shape to sell anyways

haha you have too muchh free time. if only they were identical, the rocker looks different on each ski though

i guess that looks fun... i kinda see it snapping and you flipping over and eating shit so make sure you film it!!

Doing your own rocker should not bend or crack your core and edges in sharp angles. Expiermenting = awesome. Actually skiing on the = not awesome.

Not trying to make any ridiculous claims or anything, especially before I've gotten the chance to ride them, but these skis are the future of skiing and possibly the greatest invention since... ever. This is even better than when they'll find a cure for cancer

u have the running length of a snowblade haha, have fun on snowblades, gaper, jking, but seriously, there like blades

^^ yah i was thinking the exact same thing, your effective edge on a normal groomer is gonna be like maybe 8 or 9 inches...also, when you say "5 stage rocker" do you just mean you cracked them at 5 different points on the way up the length of the ski? if so, those things are gonna collapse the second you put any sort of weight on them, cause you basically just created 5 huge hinges at the tip and tail inside the core of your skis...

rockered skis used to be used primarily for deep snow, and i feel like if you took those into waste deep snow you would like, slip through the snow. nadadadamean>?

runnin lenght is about 30 cm...

gonna be shaky as hell.

I'd wear a ful face helmet

you dont need that much of a rocker in my opinion, I might do an experiment like this butdeffinatly not using high temps and making the core crack

it's all about getting the ski stuck in a position that is a bit further then its elastic limits.

good luck

Kids are going way overboard with this rocker ish, your going to make yourself look like a fool skiing on those

someone take apic of this guy goign up a lift or something involving skiing hahahhahah..i bet youll do east nosegrabs. but then ull prly pull the tip off. yikes

HAHA,

those are gonna be SHAKY as all helly, best of luck to ya...btw stop getting all offended when people state their opinion, obviously you posted them up cause you were excited about them, now people are letting you know what they think...what'd u expect?

Twood said it best under the comments for the picture

"This is a joke/experiment for fun so people should chill. they look sooo funny. post video pleaseeee"

and I've already rockered an old pair of skis, just a 2 points not 4, and not as rockered. They where super fun and lasted much longer than I expected (about 10 days). They're not broken now but they've lost most of the rocker.

The reason for having 4 points the ski bends at is pretty much so that there isn't a point where it bends up, then the orriginal camber makes it start to bend back towards the snow.

I wouldn't be surprised if they broke first day, but that being said I would be surprised if they lasted for 10 days or so

and I'll post vid hopefully

they where sick, maybee a little bit too much rocker but overall I had tons of fun on them. Tail butters (forward not switch) and switch nose butters where super fun.

Oh ya and they did not break, and I definatly didn't take it easy on them

how did you manage to do that. Like i understnad that you heated them up, but how did you get the shape to begin with?
