the toughest thing for me, is making the transition from old school to new, i took 15 years off skiing, i'm 31 now and when i stopped i was 15. In the past 2 season's i've managed to learn to master one thing at a time, first i started skiing switch, throwing 180's off anything i could find, skiing a ton of glades/powder, dropping small cliffs{like 10 ft}, grabbing my ski's cluelessly at first, than i realized the mute was the core of so many moves, so i started throwing just basic mute and japan's in beginner parks, sliding my first rails and boxes. 360's came super easy to me, it was just learning to restyle them by slowing down my spin, crunching my body, etc. cause i used to do 360's when i was a kid alot but those days it was called a helicopter, and spun very upright. At this point i'm just barely clearing full size booters and am kinda scared to try and huck myself and spin off anything too big. I may invest in some light padding to try and take it to the next level.
