BEER vs. LIQUOR round 1.

oh to the people who said less beer gets them drunk...take the shots you would take and mix them with a carbonated beverage and it will get you drunk faster than beer.
 
I really like liquor, but beer is definitely better for parties. Just because of games and the fact that it's much easier to control where you're at so people don't get stupidly fucked up. Keeping it mostly with beer with a bottle or two handy to help latecomers and heavy drinkers along is the way to go.
 
Haha, I like wine because it's easy to steal. I don't like it because each sip is like eating a Tylenol PM. If I smoke with wine I don't stand a chance of staying awake the whole time.
 
last night...vanilla smirnoff, like a third to a half of a fifth, then some 99 cherries, a sam adams boston ale, then like most of a bottle of chardonnay
 
yeah like 4 beers would give me a nice buzz, but 4 shots of vodka wouldnt do shit for me. beer is awesome because you can play drinking games, liquor is awesome because you get crazy drunk.
 
Mostly true, when it comes to price its the same. And with a beer bong you get drunk just as fast as you can with shots.
 
But I'd say my favorite part about the liquor is the straight shots that make you warm. Mixed beverages can taste good, added to soda can taste decent, but hands down if I'm sipping something its gotta be a cold beer.
 
Beer is sooo refreshing. There's nothing better in the world than a cold pitcher on top of Whistler (Roundhouse Patio) after some Spring skiing. Mmmm...countdown begins.
 
redbull and vodka is just nuts, ive never had anything that got me so crazy drunk in my life. im not sure if there is anything else that could get you more drunk
 
if your at a party, you need liquor and beer. im more of a liquor person if i wanna get wasted as shit, but usually dont want to. id rather have liquor, get mad bitches to get crazy drunk be sippin on my beer still in control of myself and possibly pick them up. this hasnt worked because, liquor tastes nice and beer runs out quicker oddly =[
 
im typically a beer guy, it just tastes so good.

i used to be heavy into gin and rum (not together). its great if you want to get smashed but not if you just want a casual drink with some homies
 
you are differetn when you are drunk on them, spirits gets me hyper and then you do stupid shit you regret whereas beer makes you more chilled and fucking lazy, both good in the right places.

got a good one here, liquor can sterelize shit so if you are going to do something dumb like pierce your nipple with a thumbtack you wont get infected.
 
Are you serious? Four types of liquor don't come close to covering the necessities. You need every speed rail liquor, and then liquers on TOP of that. Which liquers is mostly up to you (you need kahlua and creme de cacao obviously), but white rum, dark rum, vodka, rye, tequila, trip sec and gin all need to be present, not to mention non-alcoholics like grenadine, sour mix and bitters. Stocking even a basic bar takes a lot of money, and if you want to do it half-decently, time and effort.
 
I think it also really depends on your age and drinking experience. Early drinkers tend to like liquor better because they haven't acquired a taste for beer yet and liquor goes down fast and easy. Once early drinkers become party drinkers beer becomes preferable. Once party drinkers settle down, they face a crossroads. The alcoholics and classy motherfuckers choose liquor or wine, everyone else goes for beer. It's the alcohol cycle of life.
