Bechletter has the best segment in skiporn.

yea i didnt agree with bechletter his sections sick, but mahre rips everything, i think he only lands forward twice in pow, the last shot in his segg is the sickest,
 
ya Andy Mahre is the man. best seg for sure. and I wasnt that into JPs old school segment. I think there should be some new kids in there. jp is an amazing skiier I just like seeing new faces in the crowd.
 
new order rules, so naturally, benchetlers bart was awesome. i didnt think the song went well with andy's part at all, but thats probably because i associate it so much with lindsay robertsons part in zero video dying to live.

the followcams in andreas' part were kinda unreal, but his style isnt my cuppatea.
 
haha "im j.p auclair, im from quebec and right now im taking some time off...so i can ski" can't forget that gnar gnar crash he has at the end when he tries to 270 (i think) or 90 of the roof and onto the rail
 
Mahre is among, if not the, best freeskiing segment ever... so yeah he definitely wins the movie.
 
I watched Ski Porn again today, and I realized that out of all the segments I Sammy Carlson's the best. Andy Mahre's and Chris Benchetler's were a close tied 2nd.

Carlson's had a little of everything, although a lot more park than BC booters or big mountain.

 
damn i thought carlson's was boring. his segment in corduroy was much better. i think mahre killed it in ski porn.
 
haha are you being serious?? i skip his part after watching it a bunch, he does some sick tricks... but pep out jumps him by far, mahre does switch landings destroy bechletter's, and he has girl steez... song wasnt to bad though...i agree mahres didnt fit to well. but i really think he doesnt fit the level of skil the rest of the riders have in ski porn.
 
bentchetler segment in war wasbetter,his skiporn segment dissapointed me actually.

Mahre had a goodsegment and so did sammy but sammy had a moustache on his face and was ating fried chicke nso i give him extras for being so damn good looking
 
I havent seen courduroy but I loved the way that the music and the park/BC/lots and lots of urban was mixed in ski porn in his segment.

The only reason I put andy's below was because of the music...didn't really flow too much in my opinion. But andy kills it, and so does chris, don't get me wrong.

 
yeah the music was the sickest in sammy's part! right on dude! err, except for the fact that good ol' johnny jumped on the DL train about 4 years too late, and dubbed it to sammy carlson's incredibly trendy skiing, making that particular segment the trendiest in skiing's history, bar none. it's like a trendy shitstorm was blown directly at my eyes and ears before i had a chance to understand the movie had even started. OAKLEY! SPIN TO WIN! SALOMON! DL INCOGNITO! DOUBLE GRABS! DUMONT LOOK-ALIKE! AGGRO!
 
Hmm...I don't care about all that. i just care about how good it looked and how the music flowed, who cares if it's original or not. If it's traditional or trendy and it looks good, I'll watch it and love it.
 
first of all, you mispelled his name you silly mod.. and, unless it was the only segment you watched, you are wrong... he has wack style (his legs are so close together all the time he just looks like a tool).. did you see andreas? or, anyone else?

Andreas' part reminds me a lot of peps first real part in blunt... lots of crazy stuff... and you can see the potential for future total domination. A few of Andreas' shots are kinda wild but I think alot of that has to do with some of the tricks he's doing, and the fact that its all in regular motion, full speed ahead.

Even if there are are some arm flaps, there are just as many shots to back them up that have rediculous style. The right seven follow cam at the end for comes to mind, and I think my favorite shots of that segment, and even of the whole movie, is the yellow park staircase rail shot from straight on, right 270 on pretzel off. That shit was so perfect. People should take notes on that crap.
 
^Damn right, those shots were awesome. Following a 90ft corked 1260 with the skis practically hitting you in the face.
 
i really liked JP's seg... that was just fucking killer haha.

Mahre's was unbelieveable still.. I hadnt a clue he was really THAT GOOD.
 
Yayer. I like Andres segment a lot also. It might look a little fast in parts, but it's all really super smooth.
