Left Denver at 11am. Got to beaver at 4pm. Dear god that drive sucked. Insane traffic because of the road conditions. Got stuck next to copper for like 45 mins. That was fun to watch. The resort looks really cool.

Great first day on the mountain. Did arrowhead and bachelors gulch side. The gondola ? is one stop for my hotel so was super easy going up that way.
snow was falling most of the day. Was getting fairly deep in some places. Actually sank the wildcat 108’s a few times.
busting out the ghost trains tomorrow. Suppose to have some insane powder overnight.
going to Zack’s cabin one night for dinner evidently they take us up on these cats

It’s a ghost train kind of day. Running through the trees atm. Going to hit up McCoy park and find some more fresh.

I’ve really only explored arrowhead and gulch side so far. I’m trying to slowly work my way across the mountains. I try to hit every run I can just to experience the place.

Today was a break day. Heard it was crowded anyways. Sun was out and things crusted over.

Man just wasn’t feeling it today. Was sunny in the morning and projected to be warm so I underdressed. Was fucking freezing. Had a dark visor too and couldn’t see shit by 11am. Clouds came out thick.
Still banged out a decent amount of runs but overall took it pretty chill. Finally tried one of the cookies. Wasn’t impressed

its quiet, no one will see you duck the rope lookers left towards the birds of prey lift / course.
these magical meadows will provide epic pow turns, but remember you only get one run, so you have to get it right...
I was with Sigrun, we stopped in the meadow, took off our jackets in the warm sun and used them for sitting, we thoroughly enjoyed lunch and sex in nature.

Had a really great final day. Was able to find some hidden untouched powder. Found a few places decently deep too.
headed home Tomorrow but can’t wait to come back. I personally really enjoyed beaver. Never got bored. I can understand if you live here you’d want to head other places but as a first time I never found myself wanting to go to vail. I could easily come back here more and not be bored. I feel like I have so much more to explore.

Not sure if you've done tahoe but the west shore is a beautiful drive past emerald bay. If you can do it mid week when its not busy its better but very nice.
Heavenly isn't my favorite but it has some of the best views of the lake and stateline/south lake is east to get around and plenty of shit to do so I get it. If you have a chance to make it to kirkwood your not stupid far from south lake and its on the epic. Kirkwood is a true gem.if you can get a day in there I'd highly recommend it.
Sounds like a fun ski trip hitting all the spots though. Enjoy!
