Beaver creek

Have a condo in early Jan (9-16) and am wondering what it is like this during that time of the season.

Conditions could be all over the board. No way to really tell this early. Could be great, could be shit. I will say, I had some of the best days of last season at Beaver.

Sounds good homes

Hopefully stone creek is open for ya!

If not, their parks have been getting decently legit in the past couple years, better than vail even from what I've heard from friends

I'm the new terrain park supervisor here at the BEAV. Holler at me if you're around.. I know exactly ZERO people in avon so far.

I'm going to be at Beaver next week volunteering at the Birds of Prey event. Hoping to get whatever skiing I can in during some free time. Any idea if they'll have park features up yet?

Nice. The early season park will be set up on haymeadow until there's some depth to work with in the other parks. There should definitely be features up by then.

Sooo what's it like?

Park 101 is fully built with about 25 features including a 3 pack small jumpline. Haymeadow park is getting rebuilt today strictly as a medium setup with ~9 features. No jumps in haymeadow though :( We gotta wait for some snowmaking in Rodeo for bigger jumps.

How's rodeo looking? Haven't been out there for about a week.

Guns are pounding right now. It's definitely starting to pile up but we're going to need quite a bit more to start moving any significant amount of snow and start building.

The snows great man. Still plenty of fresh to be had of you look in the right spots.

Looks like we're trying to shape/ test some jumps on rodeo tomorrow. Rail work starts Sunday I believe. Should have an operational Rodeo park by mid next week I would think.
