Beaver Creek

Same as the rest of colorado, shitty.
But when it does have snow, its my favorite place to ski. Enjoy the free cookies at 3.

Sorry i generalized and said all ski resorts I meant everyone in summit county and the aspen area, and Telluride. Anyway Beaver creeks snow sucks.

yeah the park is in full swing

I was gonna say ^ when we were there in early Jan, they were building Rodeo and it was gonna be huge.

Don't expect to find fresh anywhere, and if you can, take the time to go check out Vail. Sick park and better/wider terrain IMHO.

I swear Wolf Creek is like a big shop vac that continuously sucks all the snow away fro the rest of the state. That place gets dumped on every year.

Reasons I go:

1. Usually the most snow around Summit/Eagle County when it does snow.

2. Best terrain by far, yes, Better than Vail.

3. Free warm cookies at 3.

4. Fun park when I'm sick of Summit County.

I was joking when I said the beav was only good for cookies. Its actually really fun. However, it doesent get more snow then Vail, and I would argue that you can find better terrain at Vail then at Beaver Creek.

Stone Creek Chutes + Beaver's parks (which can be hit consecutively) > Anything at vail
On top of that the free cookies. NOTE: Do not eat more than 8 free cookies, they are very rich and will cause stomach problems to ensue

They're expecting more snow on Saturday so you may have some nice turns.... the I-70 corridor is hurting for snow.... southern mts are at 100-150% snowpack.

i was at Vail this weekend and i thought their park sucked. at least those jumps, its kinda hard to fuck up rails. but if you are willing to hike and have avy gear east vail is the way to go. theres always great snow back there. the only problem is you can usually only get 3 runs in a day. granted they are pretty long and great snow.
