Does Beaver Creek have a good pipe at all? I've been looking for places to work and ski at out west, and I got offered a job at Beaver Creek. Let me know what you think.
BC certainly isnt one for a park, but they do have some decent terrain. You have Vail just down the road for when you want to hit a real park, and insane amounts of bowls.
i skied their pipe the first day it was open in a competition and it was the worst pipe i've ever skied in my life. worse than ANYTHING i've ever skiied.
I've got a big fat fuckin bone to pick with you my darling. in case you haven't heard i'm sick and tired of trying. I wish you would take my radio to bathe with you, plugged in and ready to fall.
well yea, I've found that vail is pretty crappy before the usfo. I hit their park up last year right after new years, and all they had was one jump, a bunch of rails, and a really neglected pipe.
beaver creeks park and pipe suck. the pipe has something like 14 ft. walls, which is just terrible, but the resort has some awesome tree skiing and your pass will be good at four other resorts besides Beaver Creek and three of them (breck, vail and skistoned) have great parks and they are all within a 45 minute drive. With Vail like 10 minutes away
If you get a job in Beaver Creek you definetely will not be living there. Vail is super close and your employee pass will be good at A-basin, Breck,Keystone, so you will have that going for you. I say take the job the vail valley is a fun place to live
hah yea my fam has a condo at creek side, and my sister lives in materhorn in vail. ill be up in bc weds thru sunday but i think we're staying at the house in vail
