if you want to look cool like all the super cool kids then yeah, they're worth it.
but if you want a quality pair of headphones, look elsewhere.

I have them, I love them. Not going to lie, they are overpriced because they say Dr. Dre. They still have really good sound and look sick though.

they good bass i heard is tht all tho? dnt want it to tune out anythin u kno. keep music how its supposed to be xD

haha, no worries.
the bose over ear headphones are really nice as well as some of the higher end studio sonys. i have found the sony headphones to be the most comfortable but the bose keep out the most outside noise.

Sweet i'll look into those. are they around the same price as the beats. i'll find that out myself too but i kno the beats weren't as high as they were before so that kind of screwed me over but now i know they aren't as highend so yeah ;P

I bought the Beats by Dre Solos back in March, and they just broke last week. The sound quality is really good, especially the bass, even if the highs are a bit muted. I use them for everything, from producing, to just listening to music and they bump. Make sure to keep your receipt because you can have them replaced for free (which what I'm doing), in the event that they do break. Also, I believe that they fixed the type of plastic used in the headband so that they are more durable than the ones I bought (mine had really brittle plastic and snapped). If you have the money, the studios have noise cancelling but require a battery. They are also more comfortable as they go over the ear, the on-ear solos will make your ears sore after a while. I bought the Solos because I didn't have the money, but they have the SAME EXACT sound quality, so it boils down to personal preference and money.

i have the earbuds, the sound quality was good for the first month but now it is going downhill, my left ear bud has almost no sound anymore. my friend has similar problems with his over ear ones

Seinheiser (sp?) and Bose do offer more accurate sound production. But the bass in the beats is superior imo. A lot of the price is obviously part of the name, but the design and materials used are really nice. I got a deal on mine so it mitigated paying a ridiculous amount. To OP, go to either Best Buy or the Apple Store and try them out, that's the best bet, make sure to try a bunch of songs with different music qualities to get a feel for the entire sound spectrum.

yeah i guess it also matters what you listen too. because hiphop/rap has more bass and such so i dont' know really. :/ lol i'll test some out at a store if their there

and multiple pairs hahaha failure prices.. bleh whatever people fall for that all the times OH man its expensive must be AWESOME lol bummer for them

dude the outers swings and jammers is the most important thing to consider when purchasing a new pair of personal noise listening devices.

i'd look into the beats more if they were customizable like from monster directly not a third party site idk if i'd trust that.
