Beater/urban skis

ok so last year i bought some k2 disorderlys to replace my old salomon 720s. i use the k2's as my resort skis and try to take very good care of them so they can last. i use the salomons for beaters now, where i can go build a jump somewhere and not really worry about messing them up. so this summer i am getting some new boots and my sollies are mounted to my current ones and are on their 3 or 4th mount, dont have much of a tail, and are too small for me. so my question is would it be worth it to spend some money on some newer beaters like some cheap lines or old solles or do i try to remount the 720s and try to squeeze one more year out of them?

+k to all answers and thanks for the input

sorry one thing i forgot to add. or instead of what i metioned above do i suck it up and use my old boots that hurt my shins/feet?

dont remount, hang those bitches on your wall! monstertruck has mad urban skis for sale right now, all like $30-$50

yea. im just thinking of my parents reaction when a pair of skis shows up at the house, they would be like "WTF?!!?!?!"
