Beat I made. Feedback?

if its your first then its not that bad, you have a lot of improving to do however. i feel like it was a bad infected mushrooms song
 
I do like it!!!

However, I believe you are a little late. We would all enjoy this more in say.. August, When we are high and have nothing else to focus on! Right now there is too much going on that Techno beats do not excite us. Please repost in 2010 for more creatrive feedback! But now GO SKIING!!! or be funny!
 
Wtf did i just listen to? sounded like Super nintendo on crack.

What program are you using? I recommend Ejay or a cheap like 50 dollar progam like kinetic. you can make ill crack beats that dont sound like a 8-bit remix of infected mushroom song.
 
that was awful, no musical flow, weak rhythm, no tonal quality to the notes. i wouldn't go putting that one on youtube. but as said, if it's your first, it's not too bad. it's really really bad if it's not though.
 
Holy shit, haha. It made me laugh, in a good way. I've heard far worse remixes in some clubs, that count on glorious bass and treble to smooth away the music mistakes.

If there's anything I would change, is maybe speed up (or change the tone) of the main beat and then, well, completely remove that crazy stuff that starts at 2:32. SNES on crack, like someone said, is what it sounds like.
 
Haha. Reading this is making me laugh. So the general opinion is SNES on crack. I better go kep trying! I used Ableton Live to make it.
 
when i started makin beats they sorta sounded like this but there are video's on youtube that will help get a flow. but are you trying to make a hip hop beat or a techno beat?

 
Well I don't want to sound mean but this was pretty bad. Keep with it though, I've heard WAY worse.
 
My feedback is don't post the same thread in 2 different categories

(Ones like Media + Arts and also Non-Ski Gabber, but those are just two

random examples)

^^Don't want to sound like a dick, but why do kids always think that other people will love their first beat ever? Throwing a bunch of loops together and uploading it isnt a wise idea. Its like me posting an edit of me trying to learn rails
 
Haha who ever said I thought people would like it? I want to know how to make my beats better and what was wrong with it. Isn't that the point of criticism.
