and no i am not saying that the beastie boys have issues

i just wanted to give my opinion on 'To the 5 boroughs'. Bloody awesome CD. not only are the songs and beats incredible. But listen to the lyrics, they tackle a lot on the whole US/Bush war thing (which you can probably tell from the cd, dedicated to NY). but yeah, they actually care about shit, they want to make a difference. i used to just think of them as fucking awesome, but now they are fucking awesome for more than just the quality of the music.

i dont understand how people forget about the beasties when their talking about white rappers. they were groundbreaking, and still are.
