All the LA places can be PACKED if there is enough snow... I went to Mt. High several years ago on a random mid-january friday and It was like presidents day compared to a normal day in Tahoe...

This all makes sense too... because there are less resorts, and way more people that live much closer... so more people in L.A. will actually go...
