!bear creek breaking news!

damn, i didn't know they were so anal about the tree thing. but it does make sense cuz people who dont know what they're doing would get hurt. about the right side of the triple though...i had heard (and it may only just be rumors, i'm not claiming anything) that not far off of timberline there's an indian burial ground of some kind. a few different people have told me that you can see the mounds of rocks where they burried them and stuff like that. supposedly a mountain bike trail/cross country trail cuts right through it. haven't checked it out myself, but if it's true in any way/shape/form, i don't think they'll be able to do anything over there. has anyone else heard anything like this? if it's all bullshit, just say so, because i have no clue.

 
ps another update...

within the next week or so (supposed to be this friday but the pipe wasnt cut yet so that comes first) the 3rd table top is geting leveled. a new table is geting put up near where the 3 rails are. an awesome urban jib is gonna get put up right below the rainbow -- 3 rails you have to olley onto the comes down a set of snow stairs. quarterpipe at the very bottom near the quad. hip jump in baby park right accros from existing hip so you have an option of sides. superman box should also be out if we can fix it

sweet! the kicker to the left of the pipe has a beast lip. bring the tiger box back. i didnt see it on sat. BC's park is dope, even if i cant hit 3/4 of the rails they have, its fun :)

well i think i did the trick of the year at bear creek last night haha...it wasn;t really a trick but this is how it went down. I was up with two fellow employees. I came up to the flat red rail super slow and well i went to hit it; left ski(back ski) falls of a sec. later the right ski falls off while grinding on the rail....the last 3/4 of the rail i went down in my ski boots....this was all unintentional and aparrently looked crazy....lol frankly it all happened so fast i didn't realize what had happened till i jumped off the rail.....

 
hahaha, that WAS crazy. looked sweet as hell because it seemed like he had no idea they were even gone. damn, if i could have only gotten that on video. i suggested that he try to 'invent' a new slide...set the DIN super low so that the 90 deg. rotation pops the boots out and then slide the rail on his boots, on purpose though. haha.

ha we do actually have a park boyer. it was in fine form today too, aside from the first hit being a little short. but the stepup into the table is a nice little line, they finally figured out how to make stuff flow.

i know most of you guys already have season passes to Bear, but i've been seeing some new names on here lately and i just wanted to say that i still have my dependent pass to sell to anybody who wants it. i'm in need of a new jacket desperately so i'll try to get a few bucks for myself for the pass plus the 25 that i have to give to them to print it. so...if anybody might want it just let me know.
