!bear creek breaking news!

ok, bad news! my girlfriend made me give the costume back since it got some grease from my bike chain on it... i will have to find something else. maybe walmart still has those 20 $ twinkie costumes.

swdorsey, i'll be there saturday early til about 3 when i start work. i'll definately film and i might break out the SLR if it's nice out and everybody's into it.

 
yeah, bear creek got screwed over. the s rail they ordered came with half the hardware to put it together, and the point where it switches from c to c is so sudden it will throw you off. the guys called the company and bitched them out. the ptex on top also can grab your ski in a couple spots, they were supposed to send us rakes and t shirts, and they never did. aside from that crap the rainbow piece that can be conected to the s rail is sweet by itself, and there is a begginner battle ship and a flat bar for the beginner park.

i took a look at the rails yesterday and they s is absolutely pathetic. i dont blame them one bit for calling up and bitching at them. the rainbow doesnt look too bad from what i saw but it was kinda in 2 peices and upsidedown so i couldnt really tell but we'll see.

it's like mt creeks thingies. its a rail but the top is flat and has ptex on it. there are like 4 huge pieces so you can mic\x and match them, i.e. c to rainbow, rainbow to s rail, etc. it was supposed to be sick but it was made so poorly. the legs that stick into the snow bend while the guys were putting it together by hand. so pretty much its gonna suck, but i guess we will have to actually hit it to find out. lots of cracks to catch on and shit...check it out its outside of the maintenance building you can see it from the parking lot. boyer out

So lemme see, bends by hand>? hmmm... guess i 'shouldnt' try it! oh well, but even with a ruff transition, it should be doable, we live in PA, we can make shit, shitastic! ready for filming wit dorsey tommorrow, dunno what well have there but i got some mad rail varations to try and i wouldnt mind throwing some corks and flip stuff tommorrow, well im off to wax for fresh snow,

from what i've been told, what they might try with the s rail is to just flip it around and make it a big ass C rail, so at least they can salvage it. i guess that center section really screws it up.

 
yeah i will see you guys tomorrow. i hope they dont have me do some ski test thingy for patrol. they should have that one good table and all the rails that were up. they also might put in the two beginner rails for saturday as well. ps any new feature ideas i should suggest? def. a table gap, wedge gap, urban stairs with rails, a hip or 2, the 40 ft handrail will hopefully be out soon, what else would be crazy

what the fuck is a wedge gap? dont mind me im bombed, but,if anyone remembers stowe 3 years ago they have a second hit that is like a 3 part table across the whole trail, one lip is like 25 ft, the second is like 45, and the third is like 60, now size it down that would be good for a first hit, second hit would be nice to have some decent pop, ya know corkage and invert stuff, third hit something nice and mellow, like a small table, no extension maybe 30 ft, now thats a setup, we also ned a rail garden for to more 'expert' rails, no one can hit them at full potential if the have to cut in before 100 kids or have to stop after jumps, unless we build rails on the side of jumps which in that case would rock! i dunno im gunna shut up now!!

ps i heard they are gonna make a near center piece for the s so it'll work out. better be a jump tomorrow...

boyer, u missed ur shoot! seriously, there was a sweet ass hit, u left before they finished it, we moved the blower, and derek shaped it to perfection, it was so sick for backies! you gotta check out the video from the one i threw!

the s rail is better then sex lol!!!! unbelieveable, boyer, bob and i were cleaning it nicely, im stoked even if it ripped the ege off my ski and nutted me a few times! i pretty much can get it every time now! but i had to come home early cuz i nutted and ribbed myself in the same damn crash on the y rail, got ugly may have a busted rib or two, but that would never stop the machine! Psycho out ill be at bear at 6p, tommorrow and i hope to have my camera so i can tape the s!

you could also name it the season ender if this pain in my chest doesnt go away. i will be taking a few days off and hopefully no internal bleedin,im hoping very much to be back for the comp even if all i can do is straight air

there was definetly alot of people trying to steal shit this weekend. my brothers friends' board was stolen and i guess my brother saw some kid grab my skis and start walking away with them and chased him down. the kid said he thought they were his so he didnt stomp his face in.

nice boyer. me and kyle were up at camelback on monday. it was like the most progressive day i've ever had. it fuckin rocked. (even though the jumps blew, and the pipe) lol

 
so your s rail is possible the hardest rail i have ever attempted. i faired better with okemo's single barrel, but then again, that had a lip onto it. i really like the flow of the park right now, with the jump/rail options for the first two hits then either rail then the wall or a jump. its nice to be able to actually put a run together that flows, which is near impossible at blue as of now. i'll be back thursday to give that rail another try....

YO! Bear Sucks! I'm never going there again. I like spring mountain a whole lot better. They have better vertical and a better halfpipe and rails. Even the jumps r better. I'm never going back to bear ever again

 
haha i agree with ski_armada... the park at spring is far superior to that of bear creek... comeon guys you cant beet a park thet is 500 ft long now can u... spring is gonna b the next mammoth... ahahahahahah
