uhhhhh........ If BC is going to do skill levels again, they have to qualify those levels plain and simple.... Hearing the BC staff complaining that my kid was in the wrong group behind the judges table isn't cool.

Just a suggestion.

Beginner = 3 no more

Intermediate = 7 no corks

Expert = whatevers

What is the point if you don't have limitations to each level? Just because someone heard that someone might have thrown a nine doesnt mean that they should be in an expert group. If nipples was in the wrong group on that day he should have won that group, correct?

KT.... you are beyond expert and hereby excluded from any other future comps because you always win so therefore you are in the wrong group :)

BTW - nips said he was pissed that I got him there late, he said it was a perfect set up and he wanted a 10 this year and that was the jump. oh well.. Thanks again for a great season.
 
BTW - the flight time on the small jump that every one hit was at 50-60' the large jump (which no one hit) was right at 70' from lip to knuckle which would have put the "flight time" over 75'
 
hahahahahaha that's quite the compliment, and i appreciate it, but i'm all about having fun at the showdowns and bc's comps. yea, props to andy for getting this whole thing running it was such a good time.

Nah it was a close call KT... in the super mega expert plus category that is. We gotta compete some more, that was hella fun.

also i do agree that the whole category thing was whack. they should do age groups because they will NEVER agree on skill levels.

and papa, when does early season begin? gordon's pond is a pretty fun spot, besides all the creepy old men in speedos that look at you funny when you come out of the water... we never got down to indian river last summer, and wanna try and hit up OCMD this time around too. you ever go to the naval jetties outside of lewes? i heard thats a pretty good spot during high tide.
 
Yeah, my house is in rehoboth so we frequent Gordons all the way to the point or until the freakin piping plovers close the access.

Indian River is where it is at. All good people, great place to hang to get the inside scoop on everything local. I park a big black military vehicle at the point where you can't drive any farther south you can see me from the bridge.
 
Im glad that everyone enjoyed the comp but damn, people need to calm the hell down, you guys have no right to even say a word about danielle, cuz she quite possibly one of the hardest working park crew members and best girl skiers around, what she said was trying to step up the level of riding, not piss you off, i stand behind what she said, im pissed no one hit the big side, cuz i wouldve loved to had i not been running it
 
im sorry but i just dont agree...i dont like the fact that she told us to stop being little bitches and grow some balls because we havent skied in two weeks?...you should be encouraging not saying stuff like that...and the fact that she said she hoped i got landed on when i almost did...thats such a great park crew member....
 
i am a hard working park crew member, ski patroller, and i'm one HELL of a good skier ALL AROUND... so please don't tell me to "calm the hell down"...

i do NOT speak to customers OR fellow freeriders like that. GIVE RESPECT TO GET RESPECT... her attitude and repoure was unexceptable and unprofessional.

do not stick up for her poor and immature behavior.

and that's all i have to say about that.
 
no i'm not gonna say that i kill at the tricks... but i've been on skis all my life... and i'm at a resort EVERY SINGLE day.. and she was out of line for an employee.... that's all.
 
she told me she that she was way better than me before she even saw me hit the jump. yeeeah... thats makes BC park crew real friendly. yeah after about one hit she shut up real fast.

whats everyones deal? you guys are nubs. bottom line is shes a bitch with an attitude. get over it. the season is over and there is no point in continuing this conversation. and as far as the "if i wasnt working i woulda hit the big one" comment goes... you didn't so why bother making sure everyone knows that you would of. you all need need to chill out.
 
and just because she might be a hard worker has nothing to do with us having the right to comment on her rude behavior.
 
yes that is what she said. She said she wasnt hiting the jump because her knee or her ankle was sore, but even at the judges tent she was still talking big game. she was a fucking cunt. but as for the rest of the bc crew that was there i thought put forth an excellant effort.

i pulled out of the comp because 90 percent of the boarders were knuckling the jump even Hoch. there is no way my old ass arthritic knees could take a knucle like that.

it was a good hit for skiers but not for boarders. to much pop and you could get the distance needed to clear it on a board.

lets put it into this context there were maybe 30- 40 people there subtract the 10 skiers you have about 25 - 30 snowborders, five had to be carted off in sleds over the course of the day. sumation about 15% of the people got hurt. so you tell me if the jump was good or not. i am not blaming BC for that i beleive it was originally built good just through the thawlling process distorted the takoffs and tlanding areas.
 
everyone calm down please, if you dont loke wat she said so be it, but please just let it go. WHO CARES? did that one comment really make you that angry that you couldnt have fun? i hope everyone can just be chill and let it go. cya next year kids
 
Word, also Chicken Shoals on the rare occasion bigs swells come through it gets real big. Make sure whoever you came with you trust piloting the boat because it pulls mad hard.
 
Bear Creek sucks. that comped sucked. the jump in the comp sucked. the park crew at bear sucks for talking shit about paying guests. the design of the jump really really sucked. the fact that so many people got hurt sucked. see a theme here? BARE CREEK SUCKS
