Beanies

So next year I'm getting a helmet (giro combyn) supposed to be awesome! But I don't know what type of beanies fit well under helmets cause last one I couldn't use cause it was fucking thick as hell but anyone know any that can still keep you decently warm but actually fit under your helmet like the pros actually have some that fit specific brand if good and link Mabey thanks

A balaclava will work well with your helmet and have no effect on the fit, a beanie on the other hand is a little more subjective. If you have the opportunity to go into a shop with your helmet and goggles then just try on different beanies.

I wear a balaclava with a beanie I got from REI. It's just a basic, plain thin black beanie thats the perfect thickness for under your helmet. I highly recommend

You need to try things like this on. The helmet for exams have you tried it? You can't unfortunately just pick which you want, you need to go try them to see what fits.

I was getting a bike helmet this week and was amazed how few actually fit me. I figured most would fit to a degree but no most fit weirdly. You really do need to try a few to see what works.

But back to ski helmets as far as beanie under them some are beanie convertible which helps but again until you try you will not know. So go to a few shops and try things until you find a setup that works for you.

Bumb

what goggles do you have, cause im thinking on getting the combyn and i have i/o goggles

First use the under armor tactical hood. Next use a dakine beanie (thats what i use). Then put your goggles on. Make sure to take all the padding out of the helmet

You could look for one with a puffball on it because it adds to the safety and has the added advantage of not allowing the helmet to sit properly on your head :)
