Beamer Reliability

would a 94' 318is beamer have good reliability. it has 140,000 miles on it, and has been serviced at a bmw dealer. no accidents, no problems. i have never had to look for cars. anybody?

Its a BMW. Any service it might need will cost you your left nut. Older BMW's have a better service record than other Europeans (not to call anything out, but MERCEDES) but for sheer reliability, nothing beats a Toyota. It wouldnt be my first choice for a car, especially for skiing. Get yourself a Subaru.

186500 miles!

1995 318i

NOT ONE PROBLEM MECHANICALLY!

COMPLETELY CLEAN CAR FAX.

my mechanic who is brilliant, said it would hit 250,000 like nothing.

in my mind one of the best cars you can buy if you dont have alot of cash...

I am sold on bmw's.

My next car once i get somee loot is gonna be a mid 90's Ti.

and when im rich ill restore an old 2002.

id say buy with out a question

good luck.

(but yeah maintaining them is a bit pricey, but i have yet to do that soooo haha)

I had an 83 beamer and it lasted beyond 180k. I dont think it was well taken care of prior to my buying it (145k i think) so im not surprised it's done now but it was a great, reliable car.

Hey if you take care of it and get it serviced at a good shop the BMW will last a long time, not to mention they are kick ass, just sold my 325IX all wheel drive baby, i loved it

if there is only 140 000km fuckin right it would be realilable are you stupid thats realy low kms for a 94 if drive that shit

Yeah, get out with youre stupid multiples of 10, even if it makes more sense. If it was 140,000 k's i don't think he would ask us.

I have 140,000 on my Honda and its fine, so I'm sure a BMW will be good, and it must not have had heavy use if it has that few miles in that many years. I'd say go for it

81 honda is like the best car. if u see one under 200,000 miles dont think about it, just go for it.

yes i am quoting employee of the month. if ur like me and live in a place that doesnt get much natural snow then get a mustang. hella fun to drive if u get a manual tranny. i took it to a mechanic before i bought it and he said those 3.8L engines run way over 200,000 miles if u change the oil when it needs it and stuff

i have 3 beamers. i know i am the stereotypical nser on here... anyway there very reliable my stepmom still has hers from 1988 with like 240,000 clicks on it and it still runs quite well. annnd bmw is very good for service they give you another car while yours is being fixed and everything
