Be careful out there...

Jumped what I thought was a fairly routine 15 footer or so next to the little cloud lift line (never seen anyone hit it off the very top, next to the trees, if you know which i'm talking about). even though i poked the takeoff a little bit and thought i could carry enough speed to clear the trees in the landing, wrong. hit something in the takeoff, ended up with my head down the hill and my right foot and ski twisted in a tree, broke my tib/fib, almost compound, at the boottop. the moral of the story is, make sure you know what you're getting into when you hit something new. don't ruin a good pay day (like tomorrow) like i did. definitely jump off some shit though and post it up.

don't think so but it could be, it's right under the cat track leading to zoom. not the tiny little thing directly under the lift, if you're riding up it's a few hundred feet up and across the trail to your left.

ha no way i fucked me up good to man! yours is much worse but mine is very similar, look before you leap. bombing down baldy, see a little outcroping and boost off it, nail a big rock sticking out which rips my heel piece out and tore my right quad pretty good. so fucking pissed, was a great day i wanna be up there. got it on video, ill post later.

thanks man, prognosis is good, all i've been told is that i won't have an issue being fully back for next season. dh bike season looks to be a no go, don't really care though as long as i'm good for ski season.

yeah i did something similar earlier this season, didn't see a gap in a run and broke a few ribs
such a small amount of time ends up costing so much skiing in the long run
