Yeah I know what the rules are here, just wanted a somewhat honest opinion on how difficult it is to obtain a semi auto AR15 with a 100 round drum in murica
 
I might be able to fit that in my budget,,,, can I pay in installments?? We don't have cornfields where i'm from can I run backwards through canola fields instead??
 
I don't really see much practicality besides being fun to shoot I guess, but seeing how I'm in Canada I probably will not be getting one anytime soon,

I really just wanted to see if its as easy to obtain one in murica as its made out to be.
 
Ah I see. It'd be pretty cool to shoot I guess. I have experience with shotguns and rifles from hunting, and handguns on a range but I'd like to try so sort of assault rifle one day. Might be cool.
 
Not really much different than a semi-auto hunting rifle. Basically just "scarier" looking and has bigger clips available
 
They're pretty fun to shoot especially in fully auto, surprisingly very little kickback, AK 47 is the worst for kick out of the guns i've shot. They're actually really easy to shoot and fairly accurate, really shows you why they shoot in bursts, Also shot a P90 thats a pretty cool gun
 
For all intents an purposes the AK is plenty accurate. When i use my bipod i can hit a beer bottle at 100 yards every time. Its not made to be converted into a sniper rifle. Its made to be blast shit not that far away an punch holes through hummers. The accuracy it loses compared to an AR is compensated by the big boy bullet it shoots compared to the rinky dink 223
 
You realize the only reason you guys can afford healthcare is because America protects your asses when it comes to war and you guys don't have to spend hardly anything on military. If America wasn't the "worlds police" then we wouldn't need a big military and could have a hell of a health care system as well.
 
i shot my friends AK once, with a 30 round mag. the accuracy wasnt that horrible, and didnt have much recoil.
 
went to america once, i didn't get shot... usually when i travel i try to emerse myself in the culture, so i'm kind of dissapointed.

Hopefully next time i'll get to experience america properly, looking down the barrel of a shotgun.
 
But if you're looking at it that way, WHO ranks the USA as 39th in health care while being 1st in spending per capita on that health care.

Canada isn't that great either at 30th but are also 10th for per capita spending on our healthcare.
 
you know why? because its privatized and some people spends millions, while some people spend nothing and go to free clinics.

Read through the NFA and GCA of 1968 and get back to me, or get half of it right look like an idiot to people with real understanding of gun laws.
 
Well you fail at pointing out specifics so I'm not sure which part you disagree with. Civilians can purchase fully automatic weapons under the Hughes Amendment of 1986, but only those made before 1986. They still have to do all the forms, sheriff approval and what not. Private dealers may sell firearms from their own private collection without background checks but not fully automatic firearms.

Thank you for your insightful reflection on The Giver. Now please go do some actual research on countries policies, politics and social programs before making such huge generalizations.

I also suggest you read up on your own country and realize the native people have been marginalized, and while you're at it, maybe go read a bit on feminism so that you can at least use the term correctly.
