BE A RESPONSIBLE DRUG USER

cool, now that i have your attention, i would like to present a set of rules that, if followed, would lead to a safer world to use teh drugggs:

'I swear or affirm that':

1. 'I will understand the effects of all recreational drugs I take

prior to ingestion, to the best of my ability. I shall research all

relevant neurochemical, psychological, physiological, and spiritual

effects, the legal issues surrounding the drug and its use, along with

other relevant information.'

2. 'When taking a drug I am inexperienced with, I shall begin with a

reasonably low dose suggested to be psychoactive by the aforementioned

research before progressing to higher dosages. I will measure the drug

carefully, with an accurate scale, when possible and applicable.'

3. 'If it is possible that the drug may contain harmful adulterants or

in fact be a different drug altogether, I shall have the drug

chemically analyzed for purity and content. If this is not possible, I

will use caution and/or follow the appropriate course of action.'

4. 'I will learn the overdose limits for my own body weight and adjust

them for any possible synergistic effects due to diet, prescription or

other drugs. I will also adjust for dangerous side effects and my own

health condition. I will also learn of any possible drug interactions

and make sure I am not at risk.'

5. 'While under the effects of a drug, I shall not take physical risks

such as driving, climbing, swimming, or any other physical activity in

which my actions may cause harm to myself or others.'

6. 'When first using a drug I am inexperienced with, I shall take it in

the company of an experienced user, also known as a sitter. The sitter

will remain sober during this experience, and will also have fully

researched the drug. If this is not possible I will make sure there is

a responsible way/backup plan to deal with any haphazards which may

occur during my experience.'

7. 'I shall not attempt to sway, force, trick, or otherwise coerce

another person or animal to take any drug; rather, I shall discuss

previous drug experiences and research frankly and honestly, allowing

all people to make their own personal decisions about drug use.'

8. 'I shall defend the rights of others to make educated, responsible

decisions about drug use. I shall not support any person or movement

that attempts to remove or abridge said rights.'

9. 'I shall not allow my drug use to overshadow or disrupt the other

important aspects of my life, including social interaction, employment

or even other personal pursuits.'

10. 'I will also take responsibility for the drug use of friends and

relatives, if their drug use becomes dangerous to their health or

personal relationships.

11. I will take drugs only in my free time, when I am not answerable to

an employer or responsible for another person's health and well-being.'

12. 'As a drug consumer, I will embrace responsible drug production and

distribution methods, such as growing or pharming your own, and shun

suppliers who use violence when not necessary for their self-defense. '

'I swear this with the hope of creating a society in which safe,

responsible drug use is a personal decision, not a criminal offense.'

to all the haters: how could drugs be bad if everyone followed these rules?

word dude, and honestly...this may sound gay, but i refuse to drive after i have smoked weed at all. and ive been smoking for about 6 years. i just dont think i drive properly when i am high, at all. so many stoners think that they can drive no matter what, i just dont think that.

i do, but only when i know i dont need to be traveling fast. when i drive home from college, its 147 miles, and i do it completely sober. when i get stoned and try to do it, all the traffic moving around me isn't too bueno, so i slow down. the 2.5 hour journey is now 3. i used to not ever drive stoned, but when you dont ever have to go above 45 in my town, its not so bad.

but nothing beats smoking a blunt and then going for a drive around town drifting all the snow covered roads at 2am with the windows down...

dude you should be a spokesperson and legalize some drugs for america.
i follow all of those rules.
whats so bad about the way i use drugs.
step 1. Smoke A blunt
step 2. Go Back inside and watch youtube videos
step 3. Play halo or watch a movie
step 4. Go into a nice deep slumber.
or if its during the day I would probably just walk around town with my fellow smokers and just have a mini-non harmful-adventure

oh word dude, what i meant to say was...

in my hometown, i can get stoned as fuck and drive......

cause i live in a smallllllll asssssss rural town....drifting and even driving around is fun.

but right now i live in a city and the only time i drove here stoned i freaked out and shit, i just dont do it...if there are other people around i feel as if i am putting myself and others at risk, so i dont do it.

hahha word, well........i got wayyyy too high one night and ended up having to drive alone and got lost in burlington,vt and almost went the wrong way down a one way....and it gets worse. 5 minute drive took 45 minutes. i was shaking and shit in my car. i dont do that now. i really dont care what people call me.

and about drug use, i would add to not let it get in the way of your goals.

for example, i smoke weed when ever i can, (less now that im grounded) but when im not having some high adventure, i design websites in my head, because thats my like goal or whatever for life,

also be careful with acid, but it is fun as shit.

Haha, yesterday people were stalled on the side of the road all over town because of a snowstorm. There were 3 cars abandoned on the side of the road going up the last hill to my house. I was completely baked at the time, yet I was still able to make it up the hill in my shitty 2 door honda accord...

Point is, I think I drive safer when I'm high

Not sure about america but in Aus we have drug busses as well as our booze busses now to test for anyone driving under the influence of drugs.

But seriousy if everone followed these rules the world would be a better place. Drugs would kill so many less people so maybe it would be bad, overpopulation? But probably for the good.

haha and the sunroof open.

Friend and I got stopped in the bowling alley parking lot for drifting and we had just smoked a bowlpack. must have had a stuffy nose cause our friend that was sober said he could smell us and he was about 6 or 7 feet away and the cop was right up next to us. He let my friend and I off with a warning.
