Utah's basketball team wins the Mountain West pretty much every year. They have made the sweet 16 numerous times.
26 NCAA appearances. 10th all time in win percentage. made it to the title game in 1998.

they aren't that good, they will get stomped in the pac 12, their football team is much better in relation to other schools in big conferences.
 
they have a history of winning. they won their conference in 09. they will be fine in the Pac10...I'm not saying they win the league first year but they will absolutely be competitive
 
i am from boise and did watch both games, if oregon was better they would have one. thats how it goes where i come from. shoulda and coulda dont mean shit, you are the better team cause you one that goes from any sport and any game. Ducks crash on the blue everytime bitch
 
um, yeah sure you will. Since Im gonna graduate with highest honors from georgia tech, and Im gonna be getting a double masters next year... keep thinking that.

They might have a few good programs and a good football team THIS year (georgia tech's is better than michigan state's historically), but they must have a terrible english department, cause they cant even spell State.

 
Nebraska wanted to take up the offer but BSU wanted 1 million dollars out of them for it. Why in the world would Nebraska pay BSU 1 million dollars to go to the smurf turf and possibly get beat. Usually big schools schedule (and pay) those tiny schools because they know that they will win and that it will be a good warm up for the rest of their schedule. It is ridiculous that BSU wanted Nebraska to pay up for that.

If you read that article about the picture which I am sure you read, The poster mentioned that it most likely happened at night. Which most likely meant who ever painted on that car was probably intoxicated. Who gives a shit anyways, We are undefeated and having a fucking great season.

well, virginia tech lost to jmu. i really dont think they are as bad as people are making them out to be. They have come a long way since the first two weeks of football, but they arent the powerhouse of the acc (hahahaha, thats a funny phrase) that was being considered for a possible national championship that everyone thought they were. I gave boise more respect last year for beating oregon. This year, sadly, VT is not great, and OSU is not good at all...
 
nope sorry bro when you guys came to boise we held you to 14 yards in the first half. trust me i was there. you guys did a bit better in the second half but we beat you 19-8. thats a little bit more than a touchdown. at eugene we only beat you by 5 points the score was 37-32. so either way we still come out on top. oregons a good team and im not taking anything away from them. if your ducks could beat boise state anytime anywhere why didnt they?
 
still holding on to those two wins like a child holds its dead kitten! the ducks are much better this year then the last two years. i want to see it go down.. so the subject can be shut.

well in autzen you had the advantage and in boise we had the advantage. boise gets better and better every year so they should just let us in to a championship now while we still have a chance at losing as opposed to in 3 years when we are 3x better

but really, BSU is good, people bitch about his easy their schedule is, but in reality they are trying to change it. You don't see a lot of other schools wanting to go against a school like BSU. We are in a shit conference and it means nothing to strength of schedule to them. Give BSU a chance, if we lose then we lose, haters were right, but at least we had a chance.
 
i meant in autzen you had the advantage and you still lost and we were a team mostly of sophmores and freshmen so how can you win if its on neutral grounds when you lost when you had the advantage
 
Not necessarily. We lose and gain players year after year. It is amazing how we keep our consistency, we just don't lose. Every year the critics say "Oh they will lose to [insert "better" team here] but we still put out a win. They just don't have the fan population that some schools had. The BCS is all about money. And how many fans or how good/well know the game is is what picks what teams.
 
oregon is real good this year. probably the most explosive offense in the country but their defense is just not good enough, they dont have a good enough defense to win big games on the road or on a neutral field. look at how luck carved them up in the the first quarter of the sanford game. kellen more can do just the same and the boise defense can hold the oregon offense back.

i think it would be a great game BSU/Oregon. and really could go either way but id put my money on boise.
 
this years duck team is complety differant then the two you beat. faster and smarter... dont get me wrong bsu has a HUGE O line that keeps kellen more warm and dry. but he would have to be spot the fuck on to pick apart the secondary like he did in 08. and your d would be able to keep up with the ducks for 3 quarters, and then we would run away. as i said before, a game now. the only way the ducks would lose in a shitstorm would be self inflected wounds./ turnovers penatiles.

i just dont know how you can say your team will be 3x times better in 3 years.

bsu is acting like there the early 90's hurricanes/
 
um haha the critics are terrible to boise state worse than oregon. they think boise will lose to people like hawaii and nevada. nevada is not terrible (byu is) but hawaii HAH

They've played all JV teams. The only one that has been ranked (http://www.goducks.com/SportSelect.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=500&SPID=233&SPSID=3377) is Stanford.
No wonder they are ranked so high.

The thing is it's hard to consistently win games, no matter who you play. Season after season game after game with a perfect record is hard to do. There is always that game, that one game that can fuck everything up. So much pressure.
 
because we get better year after year our second string is basically just as good as our first our defense is good (most of the time) coach pete has a lot of tricks up his sleeve kellen moore is arguably one of the best qbs in the nation. and our recievers have HANDS (but our special teams SUCKS)

im just going to say it.. i never have said that bsu sucks. at all there a good team. when i hear a bsu fan all like. oregon sucks dick. im like ok thats your opinon. i know that new mexico is a bad team. but a win is a win. i beleve that you can only show your true colours when you play the best teams out there. so i do want the rematch only beacue the last time we played the sooners we won on some pretty god awful calls against oklahoma.

Ok. Sorry. I just get pissed when people talk about MSU like it's a shit school and completely second rate to U of M, because there's plenty of people who end up successful from both schools, but there's also plenty of drunk retards at both schools. Although I came off sounding like a total dick, hopefully this picture of a cute puppy will make you hate me less.

i don't understand why people HATE boise state...

they win games. they are a great team. they train hard, they have a good coach and good players. their QB isn't the typical stereotype for a quarter back and they are doing very well and they have been doing very well.

WHO KNOWS what the outcome would be if BSU had a harder schedule. i would love to see boise state play some harder teams, sure they might lose some games but they would win some games too... BSU is not a shitty team. the only reason it's overrated is because people started liking them after the fact...

i've lived in boise my whole life, and I've always like bsu, bsu is not overrated for me.

the only reason you fucks hate them and hate the blue turf and hate the fans... is because BSU is good, and we're a threat. i think there is more of a "hate bandwagon" going on

that game was super boring, I nearly fell asleep inside autzen, that is until Oregon sent true freshman Darron Thomas in who pretty much picked apart BSU's defense but ran out of time to get the win. Now Thomas is back and better than ever
 
when was the last time the vandulls won? 12 years ago? they are still crap. (some of my favorites - Vandulls, vandorks, vandoofusses, and vandeadbeats.)
