BC slopestyle event?

Hey everyone,

So last spring there was an event that was sorta close to a backcountry slopestyle. It was somewhere in CA. I just remember there being like 4 or so natural hits. Anyone remember the name of it? or have any info on it?

 
Noooo, Cold Rush is at Silverton.

This was at NorthStar or Kirkwood. Like the FWT but more emphasis on jumps.

It looked fun.

 
Definitely not northstar, because there isn't anything steep enough to have anything but park. Cold Rush is one, Linecatcher is another (france) but I'm not sure about anything like that in Tahoe. You may be thinking about Darron Rhalve's banzai downhill, but that was more of a big mountain skiercross race.
 
Kirkwood!!

I forget the name of the event, but high 5's sponsored it. It was so sick too!

The course was super fun, just the weather kinda blew
 
I know all the big ones. This one was for sure in CA. I feel like maybe Kevin O'meara did well. There was minimal coverage, but I'm trying to figure out if it's happening again.

^ ARe you positive it was Kirkwood?
