global warming, climate change, polar shift... whatever you want to blame it on, the climate in bc is changing. the trees are dying (the pine bettle has something to do with that too, but if the winters can get to -40 for three weeks than they would all die)... give it a few decades and bc will start to look a lot like california... fuck, osoyoos is already a desert.

i am currently in Fernie... 'legendary powder'. hear all these stories from the locals about how the snow piles would get over half way up the powerlines... well, in three days this town has managed to go from about 4ft of snow (which was bad enough for Fernie standards) to grass.

I hear it's snowing in revelstolk... all i know is that the aussi's are making fun of bc's snow saying they had a way better (way better) season in New Zealand this summer. With Gordon Cambell wanting to double the outdoor tourism and giving the ok for almost every ski hill in bc, more heli operators, and the whole Jumbo Mountain thing... I'm not exactly sure that depending on 'eco-tourism' is a good plan on revenue for this province for the future, at least not in the way that it is being aimed. But I guess, just as long as everything goes well while Cambell is in office than Cambell is happy... why care about the future, when you can make money now?

The stories I hear about that guy... he seams a bit of a sketch ball to me anyways.

I hope they build jumbo glacier, it would be dope summer skiing. Things like jumbo glacier arent what are changing the climate, they just make the bears live 6 miles offtrack in a huge forest big deal. Its the factories and cars and shit in mexico and pretty much every country that are fucking the climate

why? because the fucking oil/coal/enegry lobby in the US has suppressed alternative energy sources such a hydrogen and wide spread wind harvesting etc. their infrastructure is set up to deploy only certain types of energy sources and they do not want to take the financial hit to reset up their distribution and refining systems. profits over sustainability.

that is THE problem. period end of story.

 
oh you can add in the control over media and the christian propiganda machine brainwashing the population in larger wester countries into believeing that certain races and religions are problematic and are 'standing in the way of liberty'.

that mentality drives the subconsious activity within the human psyche that manifests itself in activities that are self defeating. OTSS er make that; only the whitewesterners survive (OTWWS) or whatever.

that is what is happening. so what can you do? you can stop buying products that support this culture, stop buying into hollywood brainwashing and stop supporting any industry that is part of this international shadow governmental plan. or you could just read this excellent book by margaret atwood

 
yeah it blows. hemlock has 0 cms. i think powder king is the only place that's safe from the rain (they've got 410cms on top)

 
In the Kootenays things are finally starting to shape up in the mountains, we are finally getting snow at the resorts, and we didn't even lose that much. But it is still the worst season we have had for soo long!
