Bay Area Kids!

i don't know how many kids from the bay area actually roll on NS, buttt..

i'm basically trying to find some homies that are down to be makin' mad trips this year.

all these lame baypes around here just don't ride enough. its tough to make lots of day trips and shit because the gas is killllller. so it'd be great to have some kids to go up with more often.

and beside that, i'm trying to meet some kids that ride at alpine.

i ride there so it'd be tight to have some people to ride with.

i believe i'll be at alpine on friday. northstar tomorrow.

i'm originally from the bay but i don't live there anymore.  but almost everyone in this forum rides alpine, so just introduce yourself on the hill and it will be easy to find NSers to ride with.  
 
Nah, I just never check the regional forums. I'm not a park rat, but me and my brother head up often, Squaw, Northstar, Kirkwood. We're over at Berkeley High.

can't say i haven't tried.

last time i was there.. a crew of 4-5 wasted a bunch of breath hating on me.

i was standing in line, and it was pretty obvious the 2 guys in front of me were talking shit.

probably cuz of my tall tee. and probably because i was riding with no

poles. i had snapped a pole earlier in the morning and just decided to

penguin around for the rest of the day.

people need to lighten the fuck up.
 
man, that's beat.  but i'll be there on friday with some friends probably, wearing a black onepiece and shitty red skis, so just come say hi.

 
i'll be there all weekend. i've got a season pass..but i'm up there sporadically. design and school keep me here a lot.

i've got that green striped holden jacket, charcoal pants, and rock last years STLs.

if its not too entirely cold (although i'm pretty sure it will be), you'll see me in a blue or green tall tee!
 
I don't go to alpine much, but I live in antioch which is sort of at the edge of what you would classify the bay. Alpine's just kind of a long drive.
 
I'm at alpine too, just about every weekend starting this weekend. And as of right now, with no one to ride with. Anyone ski the whol area, not just park, and feel like havin one more?

ps. i'm in my car sleepin in tahoe city right now cause i'm too cheap to buy a room or even the gas to get me back to grass valley. not sure why anyone needed to know that, but whatever.
 
I speed checked a jump one time and someone broke my confidence for the day by calling me a......... Pussy. That's right people, a p-u-s-s-y. Honestly, everyone at Alpine is super cool. You chat on the lift and everyone is stoked to see other people do well. It's nice actually.

Oh yeah, I only ride Alpine. I'm wearing brown jacket and pants on a pair of PCs. I'll ride with ya.
 
that's SO lame.. i probably wouldn't have broken my back there if i had speed checked the last jump on the right.. yeah speed checking isn't stupid.

You don't know shit, you should stfu. I know lots of great skiers from the bay, and quite frankly the "gay area" is what keeps Tahoe going. No bay area skier/boarder=no tahoe economy.
 
where in the bay do you live, if ur in marin id be down to trade rides up anytime in march. and you could ski with the squaw crew. well right now it doesnt really exist but it should be sick over march
 
Damn. I should have found this thread earlier. I could have given you guys so many rides haha.

perhaps next season eh?
