i love how you can change to single shot or burst, there is so many times when that will come in handy.

Battlefield is the real deal, COD is a straight arcade shooter

Rule of thumb: never make your character do shit in cutscenes you can't do at any time in the game i.e. that fisticuff with da terror man.

oh ok sorry . but battlefield for me is multiplayer experience, COD is for the campaign. battlefield 2 made his name for multiplayer action, i hope it will be the same for BF3
 
I understand, I'm just not into MP games that much. Just to elaborate my point, these are the best FPS games ever made IMHO and the industry should get back into making something more than...set piece set piece set piece with an assault rifle in hand. In fact, I have to play Deus Ex right now (when someone mentions it, you re-install it).

Seriously? I hate to single people out on NS, but seriously, calm the fuck down, guy. People are allowed to have different opinions than you. In every fucking thread if someone disagrees with you, you just say ahhh GTFO. Accept the fact that not everyone will agree with you in every thread you make, and that does not make them trolls. i think you missed the point of my thread: enjoy the video. if you dont like it dont comment.... i dont write in every thread that i hate and say: boring, GTFO, gay whatever.... i just skip to the next thread.
 
I did enjoy the video, but NS is a public forum where anything is open for DISCUSSION. Not every thread is going to be filled with love and praise for everything in the OP, How do you not understand this?

wouldn't it be awesome if you could fire through a round of ammo at a dude, when he isn't dead, switch to your pistol, unload another clip, if he still isnt dead, throw your gun at him and charge him with your fists and try to beat the crap out of him.
but i guess that would be bad for the game cause tons of people wouldnt even play, they'd just run around charging people trying to box them, rofl

BF3 will have 50 player online games only on pc. Suck it.

I'm so glad they are moving back to actual BF instead of this Bad Company crap.

I take that back, the BC games were good but nothing like the original.
 
ok last post i swear. You can do this in the campaign in Medal of Honor, but not the multi player. Which kinda sucks. But I cant wait till I have something better to play than MoH, which has already replaced Shit Ops on my pc AND xbox.
 
Yes, we should all worry about the name of a video game weapon that will probably share very few actual characteristics with its real life counter part.
 
Didn't Medal of Honor almost get banned from the PX because you could be insurgents killing US servicemen? Even though it is all virtual avatars basically.

God I wish they weren't hyping it so early, I've already wanted it like crazy for a month haha. And to whoever said if you don't play it on pc you're 14 or a n00b...I wish I could play it on a pc, but I don't have the money to build up a pc to play this single game when I can just play it on xbox. Sure the player amount will be lower but I'm fine with just paying $60 to play it.
 
The average age of US and Coalition troops in combat zones is 19-24. A generation of kids that grew up listening to rap and Metallica/GnR, are used to hearing about politicians lying to us, grew up watching CKY and Jackass vids, and as such speak with that type of vernacular.
