Battle Sessions?

Just listening to Rogge on his radio station talking to Sammy Carlson a second ago and I heard the thing about "battle sessions". He described it as a "game of skate" thing. Sammy said its gonna be premiering on NS which is cool. But does anyone else think this sounds like a blatant rip off of Battle at the Berrics?

well it might be. But this is with skiing, so it would hold all of our interests a lot more, and isn't skate a rip off of horse in basketball, all sports do it.
 
No I totally argee that it sounds rad cuz its skiing. Im not saying that the game of skate for skiing is what they are copying, but rather the idea of hosting "battles" online.
 
I have a feeling its gonna be a hell of a time regulating it. People will be lying all the time if there is any unatural spin and grabs are going to be a bitch to judge. But hey I'm optimistic and it could turn out great. I just hope it isn't half assed.
 
hahah yeah I did. I immediately regret making this thread, hah. No, I really wasnt trying to hate on the idea even if it sounded like I did. Seeing some ski "battles" would def be cool. Just that Ive been an avid BATB follower and it just popped into my head as soon as I heard that.
 
Oh yes. Its gonna be sick. By the way, Sammy had never heard of Battle

at the Berrics when we he first mentioned the idea. I had to tell him

to check out the Berrics because its ill what they are doing. Its gonna

be different for sure though, I mean what could be iller than some of

the best pros in the game battling for the love of skiing in some

banger edits? Its gonna be fun. I love watching those Battle at the

Berrics edits but they definitely get a bit repetitive as far as how

they are produced, we are definitely going for something a bit different. Can't really say details now, but you all better start

getting shots of your best stuff too.
 
EVERYONE...is coping the berrics. Jeeezzzz I thought Rob Deeedrick's fantasy factory would be the only one to copy. The world loves latching onto other peoples creative ideas....and killing them dead usually ensues.
 
Read my post dude. I love how you guys are hating on this and you haven't seen a thing yet.
