I know how to knit, but idk anythign about crocheting. How much harder is it, and are the patterns any easier to understand hahahaaha. i only know one stitch with knitting, so i just kinda fudged it and made my own pattern, but i wanna make somethign with ear flaps, not just a round flat beanie.

its called a tuque. a beanie is a hat with one of those helicopter blades on top. and a hat is a baseball cap. get it right.
i find crocheting easier on the hands and faster. its harder to do cool patterns with though. was that semi plaid one knitted? i want to try and crochet one with my family tartan on it. but it dont work to well with crochet.
