yeah, swollen members got way to big. it was so much better when no one knew about them,

but the older battle axe shit like code name scorpion, moka only, is still pretty underground. its way dope

 
listen. 'way too big' is MTV. allright theyve kindof broken away from where they came, but that's just progression.

Usually pop music does suck and I understand why you think it's not cool that SM is getting some rotation but what Mos Def, Tribe Called Quest and the Roots, thwey get a little rotation too but their still dope.

 
i first started listenin to swollen back in 1999 when they weren't even heard of by the most hardcore underground hip hop crews at my school. the old battleaxe compilations were sick! the one thing destroying SM right now is moka only! he ruins all their songs and just changes the vibe they give off!

They still represent The T. and all the shit they dont play on mtx/muchmusic is sick. and some of the songs like take it back that get play time on tv are sick to... not down with bring it home tho.. to main stream pop like rap

mike_hunt10 - i am a firm believer that Nick is infact dumb... I've never met the dude but he just seams like a huge tool... and to be completely in love with a chick off the net who doesn't like him... now that just makes you a big loser. WHAAAT?!? they play sm and battle axe on MuchMusic. damn i thought that channel sucked cause all i saw on there were some queer dance programs that made TRL almost bearable. man MTV does suck!
